Students, teachers, and staff of Bugarin Elementary School actively participated in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill held on September 16, 2026, at the school gymnasium.

The event began with an orientation led by Mr. July R. Velgado, Principal of Bugarin Elementary School. During the orientation, he discussed the importance of earthquake preparedness and the proper safety measures to follow before, during, and after an earthquake.

After the orientation, participants joined the simultaneous earthquake drill. Upon hearing the earthquake alarm, students and school personnel immediately performed the "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure and followed the designated evacuation routes toward the safe assembly area at the quadrangle.

The activity aimed to strengthen the preparedness of the school community and ensure that everyone knows the proper actions to take during an earthquake. Through drills like this, SMPS continues to promote safety awareness and disaster readiness among its learners and personnel.
