The College of Development Education โ€“ Student Council (CDE-SC) held its Screening Day for aspiring student council officers for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027.

With 22 aspiring leaders submitting their Certificates of Candidacy, the screening served as an opportunity for the candidates to present their qualifications, experiences, and commitment to student service.

The screening committee, composed of Outgoing Governor Gian Christopher Peรฑa, Outgoing Vice-Governor Ryan Vargas, and Outgoing Board Member Arjay Capistrano, led the evaluation of the aspiring officers.

The College of Development Education โ€“ Student Council (CDE-SC) conducted its Screening Day for aspiring student council officers for the Academic Year 2026โ€“2027.

A total of 22 aspiring student leaders submitted their respective Certificates of Candidacy (COC) and underwent the screening process as part of the initial selection and evaluation of candidates who seek to serve the College of Development Education community.

The screening was facilitated by the committee composed of Gian Christopher Peรฑa, Outgoing Governor; Ryan Vargas, Outgoing Vice-Governor; and Arjay Capistrano, Outgoing Board Member.

The activity provided the aspiring officers an opportunity to present their qualifications, leadership experiences, and commitment to student service as they take their first step toward becoming part of the next CDE-SC leadership.

The screening marks the beginning of the selection process for the incoming Student Council officers who will carry the responsibility of representing and serving the students of the College of Development Education for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027.

Twenty-two candidates. One goal: to lead, serve, and represent the CDE community.
