In collaboration with 𝐋𝐅𝐌𝐓 - 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐢 and 𝐋𝐅𝐌𝐓 - 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐨, participants brought their A-game, proving that passion for mathematics truly connects us all.

The stage also came alive with captivating intermission numbers—from the talented singers of Pili and Pasacao Campus to a powerful spoken poetry performance from Pasacao Campus.

A celebration of minds, talents, and unity—this is LFMT. 💚

We were honored to hear the heartfelt welcome remarks of Dr. Ricardo Yanzon Jr., LFMT Adviser, as he took us back to the humble beginnings of the organization and its journey toward growth and excellence.

The highlight of the morning was the insightful seminar, “Mastering the Art of Lesson Planning,” delivered by Ma’am Richelle Badong, CDE Instructor. Her words reminded us of the true essence of teaching, not just planning, but teaching with purpose and dedication.

As she beautifully ended her talk:

𝑴𝒓. 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒔. 𝑳𝑭𝑴𝑻 𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔
1. The search is open to all bonafide members of the League of Future Mathematics Teachers (LFMT) – Pili Campus for Academic Year 2025–2026. All candidates must be officially enrolled and in good academic and moral standing.
2. Each section is allowed only one (1) official pair of candidates, composed of one (1) male and one (1) female, who will serve as representatives of their respective section.
3. They are required to register on or before April 1, 2026. Each candidate will compete in the following categories: 𝐵𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑑𝑢𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑁𝑢𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟, 𝐵𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝑂𝑟𝑔𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑧𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙 𝑈𝑛𝑖𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚 𝑅𝑎𝑚𝑝, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐵𝑒𝑠𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝑄 & 𝐴 𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛.
4. Candidates are expected to observe proper decorum, professionalism, and discipline at all times. As future educators, they must demonstrate good behavior, respect, and responsibility throughout the duration of the event. Any form of misconduct may result in disqualification.
5. The winners will be determined by the following titles: 𝐌𝐫. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐋𝐅𝐌𝐓 2026, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐋𝐅𝐌𝐓 2026 1st Runner-up, and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐬. 𝐋𝐅𝐌𝐓 2nd Runner-up.
6. The decision of the Board of Judges is final, irrevocable, and not subject to appeal.

𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐁𝐞𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒔:
1. The competition is open to all BSED-Mathematics students of CBSUA from all campuses. Each campus is encouraged to have 3 to 5 representatives.
2. Interested participants from each campus shall coordinate with their respective organizations for a more effective selection. Selected representatives shall fill out the provided Google Form on or before 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 1, 2026.
3. The format of the quiz bee is LET type, divided into three (3) levels: Easy, Average, and Difficult. Easy level covers General Education with 1point for every correct answer; Average level covers Professional Education Subjects (EDUC Courses) with 2 points for every correct answer; and Difficult level covers Major Subjects (Mathematics) with 3 points for every correct answer.
4. The competition proper will be held face-to-face at the CBSUA-PILI Campus on April 6, 2026 (1:00 pm onwards). Before the competition begin, there shall be a roll call first of the participants. All the participants shall attend at least 10 minutes before the allotted time.Late participants will no longer be entertained and will automatically be disqualified. LFMT-PILI officers will facilitate the competition with one mathematics professor who will serve as the spectator. They shall prepare four placards for letters A, B, C, and D written visibly in capital letters.
5. Questions will be said twice. Afterwards, each participant shall be given 10 seconds for Easy Level, 15 seconds for Average Level, and 30 seconds for Difficult Level to show the letter of their choice. In case of delay in showing the answers, the participants will automatically receive no point for that particular item.
6. The facilitators will check the correct answer and tally the scores in the score sheet accordingly.
7. The 3 participants with the highest scores will be declared as the 1st placer, 2nd placer, and 3rd place, respectively. In case of ties, tie breaker questions will be given to arrive at the 3 top spots stated.
8. The results of the competition is final and irrevocable.

𝐑𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐤'𝐬 𝐂𝐮𝐛𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔:
1. The Rubik’s Cube Competition is open to one (1) representative per campus. Selected representatives shall fill out the provided Google Form on or before April 1, 2026.

2. The main objective of the contest is to solve a standard 3x3 Rubik’s Cube in the shortest possible time, with the fastest participant declared as the winner. The competition will follow a single-round format, where each participant is given only one official attempt to complete the cube, although practice rounds may be allowed prior to the actual event.

3. Organizers will provide the cubes and official timers, ensuring that all cubes are scrambled uniformly before each attempt. Participants will begin solving upon the given signal, with the timer starting on the first move and stopping once the cube is fully solved. Judges will verify the completion of each solve to ensure accuracy and fairness

4. Each participant must solve the cube independently, without any form of external assistance or coaching during the attempt. In the case of identical fastest times, a sudden-death tiebreaker round will be conducted to determine the winner. For judging, two (2) judges will be assigned per participant—one to manage the timer and another to verify the correctness of the solve. Participants are also required to inspect the cube before starting to confirm the scramble.

5. Awards will be given to the top three participants, namely the 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place finishers.
