BNOM SUMMER CLASS CULMINATING ACTIVITY

A celebration of talent, creativity, and confidence filled the BNOM Hall during the Summer Class Culminating Activity held on May 15, 2026.

Parents, teachers, and guests witnessed amazing performances from our Summer Class students as they showcased their skills, growth, and confidence through sing and dance presentations. The event became even more exciting with inspiring guest performances from talented BNOM performers.

𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀: 𝗕𝗡𝗢𝗠 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗘𝗧 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The Blessed Name of Mary College, Inc. recently participated in the 2026 PAPSET National Convention with the theme, “Empowering Pre-Service Teachers for Innovative and Transformative Education,” held at the Partido State University on May 7–8, 2026. Representing the institution were College Instructor Mr. Joel C. Gonowon, MaEd together with student delegates Andrea Nicole R. Victorino and Hanna E. Araquel, second year students of Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd).

The convention featured meaningful discussions from distinguished speakers including Dr. Kennedy Cuya on Artificial Intelligence in Teacher Education, Dr. Joselito C. Gutierez on Ethical Leadership for Sustainable Well-being, and Dr. Brenda B. Corpuz on Inclusive Learning and Universal Design for Learning (UDL). The participants also joined collaborative breakout sessions for research presentations and demonstration teaching.

Through this experience, the attendees gained valuable insights on innovation, ethics, and inclusivity in education, strengthening their commitment to becoming competent and transformative educators. BNOM also continues to support the participation of its instructors and students in academic conventions and professional development activities that promote excellence and lifelong learning.

𝗕𝗡𝗢𝗠𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 (𝗦𝗦𝗥𝗡)

A significant academic milestone has been achieved by seven Grade 12 students whose research paper has been officially published on the Social Science Research Network (SSRN), a globally recognized open-access repository dedicated to the rapid dissemination of scholarly work.

Their study, titled “𝘼 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙮 𝙤𝙣 𝘿𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣-𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨: 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚 10 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝘽𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚, 𝙄𝙣𝙘.”, was published on May 5, 2026.

The research was authored by 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗘. 𝗕𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮, 𝗬𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗟. 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗮, 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝘀 𝗜𝗮𝗻 𝗖. 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗶ñ𝗮, 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗮 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗔. 𝗕𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗮, 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗶 𝗕. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗱𝗮, 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗥. 𝗢𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗼, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗥. 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿, under the supervision of their research adviser, 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥. 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹, 𝗟𝗣𝗧, and research teacher, 𝗞𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗙. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝘇𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗮, 𝗟𝗣𝗧.

The study examined the decision-making readiness of eighty (80) Grade 10 students at Blessed Name of Mary College, Inc. for Senior High School strand selection (S/Y 2025–2026). Using self-assessment inventories and a 50-item K–12 diagnostic test, the researchers analyzed the relationship between strand preference and academic competency.

Findings revealed a significant “Readiness Paradox,” wherein students’ self-assessed confidence did not align with their measured academic aptitude. The results highlight the necessity of data-driven career guidance interventions. In response, the researchers developed the Senior High School Readiness and Diagnostic Tool (SRDT).

This publication contributes to the broader discourse on educational decision-making and underscores the institution’s commitment to research excellence.

The administrators, faculty and staff of Blessed Name of Mary College, Inc., together with their beloved families, gathered at the stunning Atulayan Island in Sagnay, Camarines Sur on April 18, 2026 for a memorable "BNOM Health and Wellness Activity".

The short break was about slowing down, sharing joy, and enjoying each other’s company outside the usual school setting. Laughter filled the air, smiles never faded, and pure joy radiated from every face as we relaxed, recharged, and created beautiful memories together by the beautiful beach of Atulayan Island.

More than anything, it was a celebration of togetherness, filled with happy faces, light hearts, and memories we’ll surely carry with us as a new school year is approaching.
