The BNOMCI Peer Facillitators Training & Workshop is happening now, August 20, 2026, at the BNOMCI Library, bringing together Grade 10, 11, and 12 students who are ready to listen, understand, and support their fellow BNOMians.

The workshop focuses on active listening, empathy, peer support, and student leadership—skills that can help create a more caring and supportive school environment.

With a genuine desire to help, student volunteers are taking a step toward becoming trusted peers who can make a difference one conversation at a time.

In our continued commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and nurturing learning environment for everyone, Blessed Name of Mary College, Inc. is actively reiterating and strengthening our campus safety and security protocols across both the Main Campus and the SHS & College Campus.

Safety is a shared community responsibility. As we enforce strict campus measures, we call on the active cooperation and vigilance of our entire BNOM community:

🔹 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲: Parents and guardians are strongly requested to inspect their child’s backpack and belongings daily before leaving for school. For households with fi****ms, please ensure all weapons and ammunition are strictly locked, secured, and kept completely out of the reach of minors.

🔹 𝗚𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝘀 & 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀: Main gates will remain securely locked during class hours. Visitors without appointment are strictly not allowed inside the campus during class hours to prevent disruptions and safeguard our learners.

🔹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 & 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲: Basic Education students must wear the prescribed school uniform upon entry. College students must strictly observe the prescribed campus dress code, if their uniform is not yet available.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS: BNOM PEER GUIDES

The Guidance and Counseling Office of Blessed Name of Mary College, Inc. (High School Department) is now accepting student volunteers from Grade 10, Grade 11, and Grade 12 to join the BNOM Peer Guides as PEER Facilitators

Guided by the principle "Listening Ears, Guiding Hearts," the BNOM Peer Guides are trained student helpers committed to fostering a supportive, safe, and empathetic school community.

PEER FACILITATORS TRAINING & WORKSHOP
(Capacity Building for Mental Health Advocates and Peer Support)

All accepted volunteers are required to attend the official training session:

Ang programang ito ay hindi lamang isang kompetisyon, kundi isang inspirasyon upang ang bawat silid-aralan ay maging malinis, maayos, at nakatutulong sa mas mabuting pag-aaral ng bawat isa sa atin. 📚

Tungkol sa gagawing pagsusuri o evaluation, isasagawa ito nang dalawang beses sa isang linggo sa mga random na araw. Kaya naman, ihanda na ang inyong natatanging kakayahan sa paglilinis dahil kapag nakasama kayo sa top 3 na may pinakamalinis na silid-aralan ay makatatanggap ng mga cleaning supplies na magagamit ninyo.

Today, our 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 9 𝐓𝐋𝐄 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 brought the restaurant experience to life through a 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 at the TLE Laboratory!

From welcoming guests and taking orders to serving food, handling customer concerns, and performing closing duties, our learners 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬-𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬, 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤, 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 in a simulated restaurant setting.

𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐍𝐎𝐌 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐎𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐌 𝐀𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕

The College of Industrial Technology and the College of Development Education successfully conducted the BNOM College Orientation Seminar (ORSEM) AY 2026–2027: A Brand New School Year on August 15, 2026.

The morning kicked off with student registration, followed by interviews, games, and presentations—facilitated and hosted through the special participation of Senior High School (SHS) students.

Following the opening prayer and national anthem, Dr. Noemi O. Marpuri, President and Dean of the College of Industrial Technology and College of Development Education, delivered the opening remarks and introduced the college administrators, faculty, and personnel. Highlighting the theme "With great power comes great responsibility," she challenged students to embrace their college journey with purpose, accountability, and dedication as they step anew in their chosen fields.

Atty. Noreen Carmela O. Marpuri-Buelva, MM, College Coordinator and Vice-President for Administration, led orientations for the Bachelor of Industrial Technology (Major in Culinary Technology) and Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (Major in Home Economics) programs. The session also detailed important guidelines on attendance, dress code and other important academic policies.

Ms. Allyza Mae M. Bayrante, MIS, Registrar and Faculty Member, discussed admission and enrollment requirements, grading system policies, and class schedules.

The gathering concluded with impressions shared by instructors and students, followed by an inspirational message and tips for freshmen from Ms. Andrea Nicole R. Victorino, a 3rd-year BTLEd student.

Thank you to our administrators, faculty, staff, and the SHS students whose energy set the tone for a successful orientation.
