Day 2 of the Climate Change Expenditure Tagging (CCET) Orientation and Workshop. This Focus Group Discussion looks into how we can improve the CCET System ensuring climate responsive Programs Projects and Activities of State Universities and Colleges. :) I shared an apparent challenge in the SUCs when it comes to DRRM and CCAM budget since it's in a form of attribution. So focused PAPs on CCAM is very challenging to implement. I also suggested that DBM and CCC may issue guidelines for SUC Budgeting related to the CCET. :)

Today, the CRC Director Dr. Philip Nacario Talay attended the Climate Change Expenditure Tagging (CCET) Orientation for SUCs. As part of the CRC's role in leading the university in the mainstreaming of DRRM and CCAM in its PAPs,, tagging the approved PAPs ensures that government funding are spent to respond to Climate Change. CBSUA has been tagging its Programs, Projects, and Activities that are relevant in addressing Climate Change through Adaptation and Mitigation over the years. Tomorrow there will be a focused group discussion (FGD) for SUCs to dive deeper in CCET.
