Official Statement of Matibay TKD Gym and Point of view:

The Matibay Taekwondo Gym is one of the affiliated gyms of the Philippine Taekwondo Association, meaning that the Matibay TKD Gym has a legitimate instructor and the person who will handle training at the said gym is certified by the PTA.

that's why a particular gym is given affiliation certificate by the Philippine Taekwondo Association because they pass the requirements needed and sought by the PTA so that a gym can operate and offer a taekwondo program in the Philippines,

some of the requirements are the following
*certified instructor from PTA
* taekwondo program
*physical gym area (including CR, dressing room, shower room)
*rubber matts
*taekwondo gears
*taekwondo equipments
*Other related materials for TKD training

if these are not present or not complied, they will not pass and will not be given certification of affiliation to the gym by PTA

that's why most of the PTA affiliated gyms and certified instructors have standard taekwondo training fees that are required and for the taekwondo program because it is aligned with the Philippine Taekwondo Association

some says that taekwondo is expensive and costly, that's true in the eyes and understanding of those who fails to explain it properly to the parents who teaches taekwondo who is not PTA certified.

what parents pay for is the complete taekwondo program whose program ensures the safety and well-being of taekwondo jins, providing continuous progress starting from white belt until they get the highest belt in taekwondo. This includes the whole year round regional and national taekwondo competitions, promotion tests and seminars implemented by the PTA which are not provided and can be found in other taekwondo training providers who are cheap and not certified, after losing a game it's over, back to the same routine and will wait for the next year because there is no adequate and complete program provided.

so parents, choose the gym you enroll your children, so that your effort and money are not wasted.

At Matibay Taekwondo Gym, what you are paying for is the expertise of your instructor, the PTA program, and the experience and feelings of seeing your children earn a black belt and participate in PTA competitions where they can develop and showcase their skills And allowing your kids to learn the discipline

So if you are enrolled in a PTA affiliated gym, your investment in your children is not wasted.
