The Provincial Government of Abra announces the suspension of classes at all levels, in both public and private schools, and work in all government offices throughout the province tomorrow, August 6, 2026 (Thursday).

The suspension of government work does not cover offices and personnel performing essential, emergency, healthcare, disaster response, and other services whose functions require continuous operations.

For private establishments, work suspension shall be at the discretion of their respective employers.

Everyone is advised to stay safe, remain vigilant, and continue monitoring official advisories.

Bolbolo National High School successfully celebrated Nutrition Month 2026 through meaningful and engaging activities that promoted healthy eating, wellness, and active living.

Learners participated in classroom-integrated activities, including essay writing, poster-making, slogan-making, health discussions, Class Dancercise, and the Grade 12 Cookfest under the Cookery Elective, where they showcased nutritious and creatively prepared dishes.

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated teachers for intentionally integrating the importance of Nutrition Month into their classroom activities, helping our learners understand that good nutrition is essential to healthy living, better learning, and a brighter future.

Together, let us continue nurturing healthy minds, healthy bodies, and healthy habits—one learner at a time. 💚

Following the 𝗡ational 𝗗isaster 𝗥esilience 𝗠onth activities, Bolbolo National High School gathered as one family for its 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀, celebrating not only our commitment to preparedness but also our faith in God's guidance and protection.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗸 𝗣. 𝗧𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 for presiding over the Holy Mass and for sharing a meaningful reflection inspired by the day's Gospel. In celebration of 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, our school, in partnership with the 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗕𝗙𝗣) – 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, successfully conducted an 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹, 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹, 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, and 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 today.

The program opened with welcome remarks from the school head, who warmly greeted everyone and emphasized the importance of preparedness and collective responsibility in ensuring school safety. This was followed by 𝗙𝗢𝟯 𝗞𝗮𝘆𝗽𝗲𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗲, who highlighted the importance of earthquake preparedness and introduced the vital services of the Bureau of Fire Protection.

𝗙𝗢𝟭 𝗔𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗼 delivered an informative discussion on fire prevention, followed by the successful conduct of both the earthquake and fire drills, giving learners and school personnel the opportunity to apply proper emergency response procedures.

The BFP team also inspected all school buildings and facilities to help ensure a safer learning environment. 𝗙𝗢𝟭 𝗟𝘆𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀 shared her evaluation of the drills and provided valuable recommendations for further improving the school's disaster preparedness and also commended the performance of the learners.

We likewise express our sincere appreciation to 𝗙𝗢𝟭 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀 and 𝗙𝗢𝟭 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗳𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝘀𝗮 for their invaluable support throughout the activity.

Today, we were honored to welcome our dear Division Education Program Supervisors, 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼 𝗣. 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗼𝘀 (𝗘𝗣𝗦 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲) and 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗕. 𝗥𝗶𝗳𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 (𝗘𝗣𝗦 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀).

Their visit was more than just a school monitoring activity—it was an opportunity for learning, collaboration, and professional growth. They conducted classroom observations and provided valuable technical assistance on our classroom and teacher programs, particularly in the Senior High School. Their insightful feedback, practical suggestions, and words of encouragement will surely help us continue improving our teaching practices for the benefit of our learners.

Today, July 6, 2026, the Bolbolo National High School community joined the nationwide simultaneous flag-raising ceremony in commemoration of the 𝟭𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟲 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗮 𝗔𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱.

As we raised our flag, we were reminded that being Filipino means more than honoring our history—it means embracing our responsibility to our nation and to one another. At BNHS, we believe that our learners are not only students of today but also the future leaders, professionals, and citizens who will help shape our country's tomorrow.

May this commemoration inspire us to value truth, uphold justice, and deepen our love for our country.
