Ocup ES Learners Continue Studying Through MDL Despite Classes Suspension

Despite the suspension of face-to-face classes due to Typhoon Maymay and the declaration of Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2, learning continued at Ocup Elementary School through Modular Distance Learning (MDL).

Following the school's Learning and Service Continuity Plan, learners stayed at home and worked on their self-learning modules with the support of their parents and guardians. Teachers also kept in touch with learners and parents to provide guidance and monitor their progress.

Ocup Elementary School remains committed to providing continuous learning while ensuring the safety of its learners, teachers, and the entire school community. The school encourages everyone to stay safe, follow weather advisories, and continue supporting children's learning at home.

Scheduled Parent Workday Strengthens School-Community Partnership at OES

Ocup Elementary School successfully conducted the first day of its Scheduled Parent Workday, demonstrating the strong partnership between the school and parents in maintaining a clean, safe, and learner-friendly environment.

Parents of Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 actively participated in the activity by rendering voluntary services to improve the school's surroundings and learning facilities. Through their cooperation and dedication, various maintenance and beautification tasks were completed, contributing to a more conducive environment for teaching and learning.

The Scheduled Parent Workday aims to promote shared responsibility and strengthen collaboration between the school and families in support of quality education. The school extends its sincere appreciation to all parents who generously shared their time, effort, and commitment to the success of the activity.

The Parent Workday will continue on July 23, 2026, with the participation of parents of Grades 3 and 4, followed by parents of Grades 5 and 6 on July 24, 2026. The school looks forward to the continued support and active involvement of all parents as partners in creating a better learning environment for every learner.
