Excellence and Artistry: 4H Club Triumphs at Provincial Skills Competition
On July 3, 2025, the 4H Club demonstrated talent and leadership during the Provincial 4H Club Talent and Skills Competition held at the National Government Center Hall, Capitol Compound, Sorsogon City.
The highlight of the event was the impressive performance of Club Auditor Von Eljun Cui, who secured 2nd Place in the On-the-Spot Photography Contest, capturing the essence of the competition through his creative lens. Coach-Adviser Mhean Nito together with our very supportive 4H Club Municipal Coordinator. Mam Ems Miranda and 4-H Club of the Philippines - Pilar NCHS Chapter.
The program also showcased the club’s active involvement in organizational traditions, with President Ma. Kristine M. Novelo and Public Information Officer Michael R. Lagutin leading the 4H Opening Rituals. Their participation in the formal ceremonies set a tone of unity and purpose for the provincial gathering, proving that the 4H Club is as strong in leadership as it is in skill.

From July 29–31, 2025, the agricultural community gathered at the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) in San Agustin, Pili, Camarines Sur for the prestigious Bicol Farm Family Forum. Representing the province of Sorsogon with excellence was Nicole Loteriña with the club adviser Mary Ann S. Nito of 4H Club Abucay Chapter.
The three-day forum served as a vibrant platform for farm families across the region to exchange innovative practices, strengthen rural organizations, and celebrate the vital role of the youth in modernizing agriculture. Nicole’s participation underscores the commitment of the Abucay Chapter to empowering young leaders and ensuring the sustainable growth of Sorsogon’s agricultural sector.🌾 🍀✨

Ma. Kristine M. Novelo, the dedicated President of the 4H Club of the Philippines - Abucay Chapter, recently participated in a transformative two-day Leadership Training on Communication, Peace, and Security. Hosted by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pilar, the program focused on equipping youth leaders with the essential communication tools needed to foster community stability and proactive civic engagement.
The 4H Club Abucay Chapter extends its deepest gratitude to Ms. Emma Miranda, the 4H Club Municipal Coordinator, for her invaluable invitation and continued commitment to providing growth opportunities for the youth of Pilar. Through initiatives like this, Kristine and the 4H Club remain at the forefront of building a more secure and harmonious community.
