Wind howling, signal flashing, mind growing.
Rain or shine, the pursuit of knowledge doesn't stop for Dalit learners. Learning through a typhoon takes extra grit, proving that no calamity can blow out the determined minds.
The three-day suspension of classes due to Typhoon Maymay did not stop the learners from learning through the ADM (Alternative Delivery Mood). Teachers have prepared modules, learning activity sheets and reading materials to ensure that learners still continued to thrive and learn through the help of their family members at home. Teachers have provided assistance in their group chats.
Kudos our dear learners. Kudos as well to their parents for their guidance.

Scouts and Scouters of Dalit Elementary School Join in the Tree Planting Activity
Tree planting is one of the most meaningful activities that schools can undertake to promote environmental protection and sustainable development.
As part of the National Disaster Resilience Month 2026, Scouts and Scouters joined in the tree planting activity. This was spearheaded by Mr. Rodolfo G. Castro, the school head with the very supportive SPTA President of the school, Mr. Roel Adarna. This was also facilitated by Scouter Denelie F. Dasalla and Scouter Charilo A. Castro. There were 12 Boy Scouts and 10 Girl Scouts who joined in the said activity.
Through tree planting, scouts demonstrate their commitment to service, leadership and stewardship of God's creation while contributing to a greener and healthier school environment.
This activity also supports DepEd's commitment to environmental education by providing learners with hands-on experiences that strengthen their understanding of climate change, biodiversity, and ecological conservation.
Furthermore, tree planting reminds everyone that caring for the environment is a lifelong commitment. As the scouts nurture the trees they have planted, they also learned values that extend beyond the classroom and into their daily lives, learners who are responsible, accountable and patient.
