While the typhoon kept classrooms empty, it never emptied our learners' determination. Through the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM), PRHS students turned their homes into classrooms, proving that true education knows no boundaries and no storm can silence the pursuit of learning.

Pilar Rural High School (PRHS), under the leadership of Ms. Susan A. Mina, Principal II, together with Mrs. Rodalyn A. Bagtuna, Head Teacher III, recognized Chloe Miel S. Bufil and her coach, Mrs. Shaina D. Laya, during a school-based recognition ceremony held today, August 3, 2026.

Chloe was awarded Third Runner-Up in the 2026 National Disaster Resilience Month Provincial Poster-Making Contest, held on July 30, 2026, with the theme, “Naghahanda at Kumikilos Tungo sa Panatag na Bagong Pilipinas.”

May this accomplishment inspire fellow learners to use their talents and creativity to contribute positively to the community and to become advocates of disaster risk reduction and preparedness.

PILAR, ABRA | July 28, 2026 – Silence spoke louder than words as classrooms across Pilar Rural High School (PRHS) transformed into arenas of discipline, perseverance, and academic excellence during the conduct of the Second Summative Test for Term 1. Learners from the junior and senior high school levels took the assessment with focus and determination, demonstrating their knowledge and critical thinking skills in an examination designed to measure their mastery of the competencies learned during the first term.

The smooth administration of the examination reflected the unwavering commitment of PRHS teachers and school leaders to uphold fairness, integrity, and quality education. Conducted under the close supervision of teachers, the assessment ensured an orderly, transparent, and credible testing environment while encouraging learners to give their best performance.

More than a written assessment, the Second Summative Test served as a meaningful milestone in every learner's academic journey—challenging them to strive for excellence and reinforcing the school's mission of nurturing competent, resilient, and future-ready individuals.
