Secure your homes: Check and repair roofs, windows, and doors. Clear your gutters and drainage systems to prevent flooding.

Prepare Emergency Kits (Go Bags): Ensure your kit has enough water and non-perishable food for at least three days, first-aid supplies, a flashlight, a radio, batteries, whistle, personal hygiene items, and important documents sealed in plastic.

Charge essential devices: Fully charge your cell phones, power banks, and flashlights while the power is still on.

Know your evacuation plan: Identify your local evacuation center and the quickest, safest route there. Follow the instructions of your local barangay and MDRRMC officials, especially regarding preemptive evacuation.

Listen to official advisories: Regularly monitor bulletins from DOST-PAGASA and the Abra PDRRMC via radio and social media for the latest storm track and warnings.

Stay away from danger zones: Avoid crossing rivers, streams, and low-lying areas prone to flooding and landslides.
