The Supreme Student Council was represented by our very own President, President of Future Leaders of the Philippines-Pilar Chapter, and its adviser ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ณ. ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ๐ฒ๐น ๐ก๐รฑ๐ฒ๐๐ฎ. They actively participated in the recently concluded ๐ก๐ถ๐ป๐๐ต ๐ฃ๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ผ ๐๐ป๐ป๐ผ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ต๐ถ๐ฝ (๐ง๐ฅ๐๐๐) ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐' ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ from ๐๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐น ๐ญ๐ฐ-๐ฎ๐ฌ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ, at ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐๐ฑ ๐๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ, ๐๐ฎ๐ต๐๐ด, ๐๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐.
The program began with the briefing of Delegation Heads followed by the Opening Ceremony at the Pavilion. Afterwards, Chief Staffer Metodio Maraguinot Jr., YLP Founder and Chair of the Philippines Trail Camp, officially opened the Camp. Moreover, Chief Staffer Caesar Enrico Delos Reyes, Philippines Trailers Society Tyros' League (PTS-TL) Chair, as well as Junior Staffer Kaiser Divinagracia of Philippines Trailers Society Tyros' League (PTS-TL), delivered a warm welcome message to the delegates from across the country.
Furthermore, Atty. Jessie Ladeth Contento, Keynote Speaker of the program, gave an impactful message on Empowering Transformational Leadership: Serving and Igniting Communities with Vision, Purpose, and Faith. He emphasized that โ๐ณ๐๐๐

During Day 1, activities and topics for Tyros were divided into two clusters:
1. ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฉ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ป๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ๐ฟ๐, which was composed of two sets: ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ข๐ณ๐ณ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐, which underscored that for office management to be effective, this function should not be delegated to the Head of the organization but rather to someone who is charged with administration. Remember that efficiency is doing things right. Effectiveness is doing the right things; and ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ผ๐น๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐, where it was emphasized that protocols are the essential guidelines that elaborate the procedures and standards we follow in formal situations. This means you do not simply put a program together for the sake of making one; the order of precedence is objective and deliberate. When we master the art of proper protocols, good etiquette, and professional grooming, we do more than follow rules. We create the professional environment necessary for leadership to function and for communities to trust us according to Sir Maraguinot.
2. ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฆ๐๐๐๐ฒ๐บ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐, which was composed of two sets as well: ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐, wherein event management is critical because it ensures events are executed professionally, minimizing risks while maximizing return on investment, brand visibility, and attendee engagement. By managing it well, you show people that you value their time. Great event management is not just about following a plan, it is about proving that your leadership stands for quality and respect, according to Sir Marbert Remolador; and ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป, wherein according to Sir William Aranilla, successful listening means not just understanding the words or the information being communicated but also understanding how the speaker feels about what they are communicating. We understand that leadership is an inside-out process. If the greatest journey to conquer is ourselves, then the ultimate test of that victory is how well we hold space for the voices and feelings of those we lead.
Meanwhile, there was a separate topic for the Mentors about ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐๐น๐๐-๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐: ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐น๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ ๐๐ผ ๐๐บ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ณ๐๐น ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐๐น๐๐ by Dr. Dixon Yasay, DQY Leadership and Management Consultant. He highlighted that mentors need positive emotions to live better and live longer. When your emotions are negative, your relationships are affected. When your emotions are tentative, your learning is affected. But remember, emotions are fleeting. They are just like clouds in the sky, they come and go. If you cannot control them, they will pass through you. We need positive emotions because we want you to be more productive.
On Day 2, activities and topics for Tyros were divided into two clusters:
1. ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ'๐ ๐ช๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐, which was composed of two sets: ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ณ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐, where it was highlighted that conflict management focuses on maintaining productivity, but you cannot be productive if you are burnt out. It is sad to see a culture that uses the past to invalidate current success. People evolve and so should our priorities. Do not get so caught up in the stress of work that you forget to live. Your mental health is the foundation of your leadership, according to Ma'am Godiza Elyss Batingal; and ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ท๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐, which Sir Metodio Maraguinot emphasized is the structured practice of turning ideas into reality. It requires constant monitoring and control to ensure we stay on track with our budget and goals. However, the most important resource we manage is not money, it is trust. We must treat our community as partners, not just recipients. If they are passive, the project dies; if they are involved, the project scales. True sustainability is found where good systems meet genuine partnership.
2. ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐น๐๐๐๐, which was composed of two sets: ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐๐๐ฒ๐ ๐ช๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด, which highlighted that true productivity starts with a defined purpose and a structured agenda. Whether it is for innovation, decision-making, or team building, a meeting is only as effective as the interaction it creates. When we combine a clear agenda with structured interaction, we turn simple conversations into impactful results for our communities, according to Sir Marbert Remolador; and ๐๐ณ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐, which underscored that in leadership, your letters are your contracts. Every time you write, you are selling a vision or a service to your community. By using a formal and professional tone, you turn a simple message into a powerful tool that builds trust and stands the test of time. When you are a good writer of business letters, you unconsciously have a competitive edge among your peers, according to Sir William Aranilla.
On the other hand, the Mentors' topic was about ๐๐ฎ๐๐ด๐ต๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฌ๐ผ๐ด๐ฎ: ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ช๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ป๐ฒ๐๐, ๐๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฆ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐, where it was emphasized that laughter truly is the best medicine. Did you know that if you laugh for just 15 seconds, you will not feel any pain for the following 15 seconds? This happens because laughing triggers your body to release endorphins, which are our natural painkillers. When your body is full of endorphins, you feel much better, according to Dr. Dixon Yasay.
On the third day, the focus shifted to testing the strength, commitment, and leadership of the participants through the whole-day This activity was designed to push every delegate beyond their comfort zones and evaluate how they apply the principles of transformational leadership under pressure. Each team navigated a series of physically demanding and mentally challenging stations that required strategy, collaboration, and trust. The obstacles were not merely tests of endurance. They were simulations of real-world leadership crises where communication breaks down, resources are limited, and time is critical. It was during these moments that true character emerged. Delegates learned that a leaderโs role is not to carry the team alone, but to empower each member to contribute their strengths for the group to succeed.
Following the intense activity, the delegates gathered for the Oath Taking Ceremony, a solemn and symbolic moment for all Trailers. Jinky Mae T. Bargo, James Inopia, and Prof. Marc Raniel Nuรฑeza, representing CAPSU Pilar Satellite College, formally pledged as New Trailers. With their right hands raised and voices in unison with other delegates from across the country. The oath was not just a ceremonial rite. It was a personal covenant to bring the lessons of TRAIL back to their campus and communities, to lead not for recognition but for transformation.
Lastly, the Summation and formal closing of the TRAIL Camp was delivered by the founder and Chair of the Philippines Trail Camp, Sir Metodio Maraguinot Jr. ๐ป๐๐ ๐ป๐น๐จ๐ฐ๐ณ ๐ช๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐

He challenged every New Trailer to be a seed of change in environments that resist growth and to be a bridge of trust in spaces divided by conflict. He reiterated that transformational leadership is not an event but a lifestyle of consistent service, especially when no one is watching.
This ๐ง๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ was more than a gathering of student leaders and mentors but a convergence of visionaries committed to nation-building through youth empowerment. For the Supreme Student Council of CAPSU Pilar Satellite College, participation in the Ninth Philippines TRAIL Leaders' Camp was a milestone in its commitment to produce leaders who are not only academically competent but also socially responsive and morally grounded. As the delegates returned to their respective provinces, they carried with them not just memories of Cebu City, but a renewed sense of duty. The TRAIL has been blazed. Now, it is their turn to lead others through it.
