Sulbec ES Strengthens Safety Through Preparedness

Safety is everyone’s responsibility! Sulbec Elementary School successfully conducted its School Safety Drill as part of the school’s continuing efforts to strengthen preparedness and ensure the safety of our learners and personnel. More than just an activity, the drill gave everyone an opportunity to practice the proper response during emergencies and reminded us that being prepared can make a big difference when it matters most.

Our heartfelt thanks to the PNP Pidigan, BLGU Sulbec, and Sulbec ES GPTA officers and members for their valuable presence, cooperation, and support. We also extend our appreciation to our School Head, Mr. Palmero D. Garcia, together with the dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff of Sulbec ES, for making this activity meaningful and organized.

Together, we continue to build a school community that is prepared, alert, and committed to keeping everyone safe.

INSET 2026

Sulbec Elementary School— September 2026.
With a clear commitment to strengthening teaching practice and improving learner outcomes, teachers of Sulbec Elementary School gathered for its In-Service Training (INSET) 2026, themed “Transforming Teaching: Building Inclusive and Reflective Classrooms for the Revised K to 10 Curriculum.”

Spearheaded by Mrs. Pilita C. Apolinar, School Principal III, the professional development activity brought together educators for a day of focused learning, reflection, and practical strategies responsive to the evolving demands of classroom instruction.

The training featured sessions on “Teaching in the Tech Era: Harnessing EdTech for Improved Learning and Teacher Advancement,” “Artificial Intelligence in Education: Equipping Teachers for Smarter and More Effective Learning Delivery,” “Cultivating Respect: Practicing Positive Discipline in Daily Teaching,” and “ELLN: Science of Reading.”

The sessions highlighted the need for teachers to move beyond traditional approaches and embrace technology-enhanced, AI-informed, inclusive, respectful, and evidence-based teaching practices.

Serving as resource speakers were Jaimely B. Bulda, Misha Madeline B. Gacad, Christel C. Perlas, and Ruby May S. Cadiz, who shared knowledge and practical insights aimed at empowering teachers to become more adaptive, reflective, and responsive educators.

More than a training activity, INSET 2026 served as a professional reset and renewal—reminding teachers that effective education begins with educators who continuously learn, reflect, innovate, and improve.

Under the leadership of Mrs. Apolinar, the school continues to invest in its greatest resource: teachers who are prepared to transform classrooms and shape better learning experiences for every child.

Learn. Reflect. Innovate. Transform.

INSET 2026 — Building teachers who build better classrooms.

SCOUTS ON A MISSION: ZERO BREEDING GROUNDS!

Small hands. Big action. Bigger impact!

The Boy Scouts of the Philippines – Sulbec Elementary School took the lead in making our school and community cleaner, safer, and more dengue-ready through Oplan TAOB (Tanggol Kontra Dengue) and the Community Clean-Up Drive.

Our young Scouts showed that heroism is not only found in history books—it can also be seen in simple acts of service. They cleared clogged areas, emptied containers with stagnant water, cleaned drainage canals, properly segregated waste, and helped remove possible mosquito breeding sites.

Kudos to our Scouts for turning service into action and teamwork into change!

With the helping hands of teachers, and community partners, let’s continue working together for a cleaner environment, healthier families, and a dengue-free community.
