Science is not only a body of knowledge, it is a way of seeing the world with wonder and creativity...

Embracing this vision, Piddig National High School ignited curiosity and imagination through LUMINA: Coalescence of Arts, Music, and Science โ€“ An Illuminating Interactive Activity, held at the Pioneer Hall on September 26, 2025.

Supervised by Mr. Jesse Juan Y. Villaluz, School Principal IV, the event was spearheaded by the Science Department under Miss Dinah B. Dumlao, Master Teacher II, and coordinated by Mrs. Maribel A. Aspili, Teacher III in partnership with Earthlings Lumina led by Mrs. Mars Castillo. This collaboration brought together STE and STEM learners and science enthusiasts, in a dynamic exploration of how art and music can deepen the understanding of scientific concepts.

Through interactive exhibits and creative presentations, learners discovered that science extends far beyond theories, it thrives in rhythms, colors, and the harmony of artistic expression. The activity highlighted the transformative power of partnerships and interdisciplinary learning in nurturing curiosity, critical thinking, and innovation.

By blending art, music, and science, LUMINA illuminated a holistic approach to education, one that inspires learners to see science not just as knowledge, but as a creative way of understanding and appreciating the world.
