Early Registration for incoming Kindergarten and Grade 1 Learners as well as Transferees and Balik-Aral for School Year 2026 - 2027 will start on January 31, 2026 - February 27, 2026.

Taccad finishes 4th place in Division Read-A-Thon Tahirawan Category

Sherina Fae Taccad achieved fourth place in the Tahirawan category of the recently concluded Division Read-A-Thon, one of the highlighted events in this year’s Division Festival of Talents.

The Division Read-A-Thon, organized by the Department of Education (DepEd) as part of the annual Festival of Talents, showcases learners’ literacy skills in various categories and languages both English and Filipino.

In the Tahirawan category — a Filipino language reading and performance event for Key Stage 2 participants — Taccad demonstrated commendable skill and poise, earning a place among the top contenders.

Sisim ES Learners Shine in Congressional Festival of Talents in Iguig

Participants from Sisim Elementary School delivered strong performances in the Congressional Festival of Talents, bringing home multiple awards in story telling and technical skills categories.

Sherina Fae Taccad earned 2nd place in the Read-A-Thon for Grade 6(Filipino Category) while Ellaisa Sibbaluca secured 4th place in the Read-A-Thon for Grade 3(Filipino Category). Both contestants showcased exceptional story telling during the competition.

In the Techno Fusion event, Christian Dave Pagulayan placed 5th in Extension Cord Making and Switch Assembly, demonstrating his proficiency in basic electrical skills.

The festival gathered learners from different schools to highlight academic and technical abilities across various disciplines.

SISIM ES shines in 2025 District Festival of Talents

Pupils from Sisim Elementary School showcased outstanding talents after securing multiple awards in the 2025 District Festival of Talents held recently.

Sherina Fae Taccad garnered 1st place in the Story Resolution (Filipino) competition, while Christian Dave Pagulayan bagged first place in Extension Cord Making with Switch Assembly.
Ellaisa Sibbaluca also earned first place in Story Retelling (Filipino).

In culinary category, the team of Sheana Fabricante and Mark John Taguinod clinched first place in Food Preparation.

Rian Jade Gazzingan placed second in Dish Gardening, followed by Rhyanna Mae Espra who ranked fourth in Story Resolution (English). Kristen Van Taccad secured fifth in Invitation and Card Making.

Other representatives of the school were Keign Bryle Bermudez, Jamilla Taguinod, Kurt Russel Acorda, and Julius Ucol.

The pupils who bagged 1st place will represent the district and compete in the next level.

SES Athletes excel in Municipal Athletic Meet 2025

Sisim Elementary School athletes delivered impressive performances in the recent Municipal Athletic Meet.

Mary Ann Carlos won two gold medals in the high jump and triple jump events while Marinel Agabin snatched silver medal in 400m run. Keign Bryle Bermudez and Eduardo Suyu bagged bronze medal in the shot put and 400m run competition.

The school also fielded representatives in other events, including Dick Harvey Balao and Kristen Van Taccad in badminton.

Their achievements brought pride to Sisim Elementary School and highlighted the athletes’ determination and competitive spirit.

Sisim ES Athletes shine in 2025 Municipal Athletic Meet

Displaying remarkable skill and teamwork, the athletes of Sisim Elementary School made an impressive game during the 2025 Municipal Athletic Meet after winning several medals in different sport events.

In badminton, Dick Harvey Balao bagged gold in the boys’ singles and, with Kurt Xian Bermudez, took silver in the boys’ doubles. Kristen Van Taccad clinched silver in the girls’ singles and, with Jamilla Kate Taguinod, won gold in the girls’ doubles.

In athletics, Keighn Bryle Bermudez secured gold medals in discus throw, shot put, and taekwondo, while Nica Angel Camarao took bronze in the girls’ discus throw. Eduardo Suyu and Marinel Agabin both won silver medals in the 400-meter dash. Keith John Albacena and Yushaine Andal snatched bronze medals in the 1500-meter dash.

Marry Ann Carlos captured gold in high jump and triple jump and added a silver in long jump.

With their collective efforts, Sisim Elementary School proved its athletic prowess placing the UNIT 5 as 2nd Runner-Up in the overall medal standings in the District Athletic Meet.

4 SES Journalists qualify for Congressional District Press Conference

Four campus journalists from Sisim Elementary School qualified for the Congressional District Press Conference to be held at Enrile Vocational High School, Enrile, Cagayan.

Hanna Suyu won 1st place in Editorial Cartooning (English), while Precious Mae Allam placed 2nd in Copy Reading and Headline Writing (English). Rhiana Espra also won 2nd place in Science and Technology Writing (English), and Shekina Shane Pascual secured 2nd place in Science and Technology Writing (Filipino).

The four winners earned their spots after excelling in the District Schools Press Conference held at Dodan Elementary School.

They will represent the district in the next level of competition.

Sisim Elementary School emerged as the 3rd Overall Champion in the District Schools Press Conference held at Dodan Elementary School,October 16

The school’s campus journalists earned multiple awards in various categories.
Hanna Suyu won 1st place in Editorial Cartooning (English), while Precious Mae Allam placed 2nd in Copy Reading and Headline Writing (English). Rhiana Espra and Shekina Shane Pascual both secured 2nd place in Science and Technology Writing (English and Filipino), respectively.

Dianalip Balao won 3rd place in News Writing (English). Other awardees were Rhiane Jade Gazzingan, 4th place in Editorial Writing (English); Euan Clark Macanang, 5th place in Editorial Cartooning (Filipino); Roshy Fae Talosig, 5th place in Column Writing (English); Jamilla Taguinod, 5th place in Editorial Writing (Filipino); and Sherina Fae Taccad, 5th place in Sports Writing (English).

In the group category, Sisim also earned 3rd place in Radio Broadcasting(Filipino), represented by Keighn Bermudez(anchor), Kristen Van Taccad(co-anchor), Mary Ann Carlos(news presenter), Jenren Taguinod(news presenter), Angelo Ultu(sports presenter), and Rose Ann Atabug(infomercialist).
