This partnership was built upon an initial discussion held on September 4, 2024, where both parties expressed their shared commitment to promoting educational access for the families of the nation’s defenders.
Under the agreement, dependents of military personnel who are combat and non-combat casualties will receive a 100% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees, while dependents of active military personnel and CAFGU members will enjoy a 35% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees.
Representing MCNP-ISAP during the MOA signing were Dr. Christian R. Guzman, President; Dr. Winnie T. Cancejo, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Atty. Cristina G. Natividad, Vice President for International Education and Institutional Linkages; and Ms. Beverly A. Cannu, Scholarship Coordinator.
The Armed Forces of the Philippines Educational Benefit System was represented by Col. Melvin A. Banua, Maj. Marvin D. Labor, TSg. Jayson C. Lozano, PA, FN1 Roy L. Caluza, PN, and Mr. Eric James J. Edtabillo, CivHR.
This collaboration underscores MCNP and ISAP’s continuing mission to transform lives through education and service, paying tribute to the courage and dedication of the country’s men and women in uniform.
