Our Heavenly Father hears us when we call, when we call in distress, in pain, in sickness. His ears are inclined to our cry. The above verse encourages us to ask Him all things. When we were little children, we would run to our father or mother when we needed something. God wants His children to come to Him with every problem of ours. Our Heavenly Father is pleased when we talk to Him about our needs, our disappointments, and even our successes. Jesus loves you and cares for you. When Jesus was on this earth, He constantly communed with His Father in prayer, sometimes all through the night. How much more we need such fellowship with our God. Would you take time to pray?

Jesus encountered lots of children throughout His ministry. He took children in His arms and blessed them. He used the gift of a child's bread and fish to feed more than 5,000 people. He said that we must become humble like them to enter the kingdom of heaven.
Caring for children is not easy, and it often goes unappreciated. But to everyone who lovingly cares for children and leads them to Jesus, His words remain precious and true: "Whoever welcomes one of these little children in My name welcomes Me" (Mark 9:37).
Jesus loves children. He invites us all to be the children of God, and we are safe in His love forever.

As we walked down the corridors of the hospital, we saw rows and rows of beds with sick people. We went to the orthopedic section. Two pairs of eyes welling up with tears. Broken legs and fractured spine. They had jumped off a balcony to escape abuse and r**e. We reached out to them and shared the love of Christ. They were so eager and opened their hearts to Him. Misery was all around us. People of all ages, suffering with various ailments. God has given us many opportunities to reach out to those who are hurting, physically and mentally. How often we've been so self-absorbed!
Friends, let's step out, even in the midst of our pain. There are millions who are hurting, who need a word, a gentle touch, a hug.

Daniel Whittle received the inspiration for his song, “There shall be showers of blessing” from the book of Ezekiel. “I will send the showers in season. There will be showers of blessing.” (Ezekiel 34:26) Like Whittle, we all desire blessings in our lives. God wants to bless His people. But we must trust God and obey His word at all times. In times of drought let us trust Him even more. Maybe, drops of mercy are falling now. But wait for the showers. It will soon come. This shower is symbolic of more than just the rain that falls to the earth. It symbolizes the good things that God wants to bring into the lives of those who love and serve Him. Thank You Jesus for the promise of blessing in my life!
