AUTOMATIC SUSPENSION OF CLASSES

Due to the Orange Rainfall Warning issued by PAGASA, the Municipality of Pavia, Iloilo announces the suspension of classes in all levels in both public and private schools today, August 18, 2026.

The suspension is implemented as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and welfare of all learners, teaching personnel, and non-teaching personnel.
All levels are shifted to Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM) such as online, asynchronous or modular learning.

Parents and guardians are advised to keep learners at home and in safe areas and to remain alert for possible flooding, rising water levels, and other hazards associated with the continued rainfall.

The public is advised to monitor official announcements from PAGASA, the Municipal Government of Pavia, and the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).

Please prioritize safety. Avoid unnecessary travel and follow the instructions of local authorities.
