𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐍 | Isang taos-pusong pagbati kay Saudiah Jeanneth Erlano, Special Program in Journalism (SPJ) Alumna (Batch Paghimakas) at nagsilbi ring dating Ikalawang Punong Patnugot ng 'Ang Biyaya,' na kasalukuyang Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting student ng West Visayas State University (WVSU)-Main Campus, sa kanyang pagkapanalo bilang Miss Ungka II 2026.

Sa nasabing kompetisyon, buong husay niyang ipinamalas ang talino, galing, at tiwala sa sarili na siyang mga katangiang naghatid sa kanya sa korona at tagumpay.

Sa Final Interview Round, malinaw na naipahayag niya ang kanyang adhikaing maging tinig ng kabataan at magsilbing inspirasyon sa kanyang kapwa.

"I believe as a young leader myself, we are not just championing the youth, we are promoting diligence, honesty, and perseverance to each one of us. Instilling knowledge and purpose for us to lead our nation and to lead our community," bahagi ng sagot ni Erlano.

We are proud to announce the official list of Grade 7 qualifiers for the Special Program in Journalism (SPJ) for School Year 2026–2027!

Your passion for storytelling, pursuit of truth, and dedication to journalism have earned you a place in this program. This is the beginning of a meaningful JOURNey—where you'll grow as a writer, broadcaster, and responsible communicator.

𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦:
All qualified SPJ applicants must confirm their enrollment on or before April 10, 2026 (12:00 NN) by contacting Mr. Cheno S. Pollan at 0995-493-1984 or via email at [email protected].

Failure to confirm within the deadline will result in forfeiture of your slot, which will be offered to applicants on the waiting list.

🗓 SPJ Qualifying Examination and Interview
📅 Date: March 28, 2026 (Saturday)
🕣 Time: Examination starts at 8:30 AM; interview will follow in the afternoon
📍 Venue: 2nd Floor LRC Building, Pavia National High School

✅ Reminders for All SPJ Applicants:
• Wear comfortable or casual attire
• Bring a pen and paper
• Bring a packed lunch and water (interview will be conducted after lunch)
• Bring a photocopy of your report card (at least 3rd Quarter) if not yet submitted
• Don't forget your Applicant Number
• Walk-in applicants are welcome but please arrive early

The Special Program in Journalism (SPJ) of Pavia National High School continues to uphold its reputation for producing exceptional student leaders, as several of its learners have been elected to key leadership positions in various school-based clubs and organizations for the School Year 2025–2026.

These appointments reflect the program’s success in nurturing not only proficient campus journalists but also empowered youth leaders who embody the values of service, initiative, and civic engagement. From academic clubs to interest-based and advocacy-driven organizations, SPJ learners have stepped up to take on responsibilities that extend far beyond the newsroom.

Thus, the SPJ community takes great pride in the continued growth and emerging leadership of its learners, with full confidence that they will lead with purpose and uphold the highest standards of truth, integrity, and excellence.
