A new semester, a fresh start, and another chapter begins, as Mindanao State University-Sulu formally opens its gate to a new academic year. For some, it is a return to a familiar environment; for others, it is the beginning of a new chapter filled with new faces, experiences, and opportunities.

The College of Health Sciences officially kicked off the academic year with a welcoming program entitled โKick-Off Fest: Freshmen to the Frontlineโ. Together, faculty members, staff, and students from all year levels welcomed a new batch of learners into the fold.
The event began with the Campus Parade, followed by an invocation and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and MSU-Sulu Hymn. The College Dean then delivered the welcome remarks, setting the tone for the academic year and warmly receiving both the returning students and the newest members of the CHS community.
The energy picked up with intermission performances and games, giving everyone a chance to loosen up, reconnect, and simply enjoy being back on campus. Adding substance to the celebration were messages from the BSN and BSPh Chairpersons, reminding students that beyond the excitement of a new school year comes the responsibility of preparing for a profession built on knowledge, compassion, and service.
As the program came to a close with the processional, freshmen took their first steps into CHS while returning students stepped back into familiar ground.
