𝐂𝐀𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑-𝐔𝐏 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: Walang Lowbat sa Pangarap! Freshies, Charge na! 🔋

The SuluSU College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) officially welcomed its students, especially the incoming freshmen, during the Departmental Orientation 2026 on 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, held at the 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 (𝐂𝐂𝐀).

With the theme “𝐂𝐀𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑-𝐔𝐏 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐰𝐛𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐩! 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐧𝐚! 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦, 𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞.” the orientation emphasized the importance of hard work, meaningful growth, and continuous learning as freshies begin their journey in the College. It encouraged students to stay rooted in purpose, shine in every step, and pursue success with determination.

The program began with an invocation, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the SuluSU Hymn.

𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐭. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐀𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐲𝐧𝐞 𝐊. 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐢, 𝐌𝐒𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐚, Director of the Extension Office, delivered the opening remarks. She inspired the freshies with unwavering support and encouragement as they start their college journey.

This orientation highlighted essential information about their respective academic programs, college policies, expectations, and the various opportunities available within CAS. It served as a guide to help freshies become familiar with their new academic environment.

𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐈𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐚 𝐀. 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐣𝐚, 𝐏𝐡.𝐃, Associate Dean of CAS, also gave a message to mark the beginning of a new chapter — one filled with learning, friendship, and personal growth. She introduced the SuluSU Mission, Vision, Goals, and Core Values to the students.
