PHSIN HOLDS QUARTERLY GENERAL PTA MEETING AND TERM 1 CARD DAY

Parents of Pasuquin High School of Ilocos Norte, Inc. (PHSIN) gathered on September 16, 2026, for the Quarterly General PTA Meeting and Term 1 Card Day. The meeting was held at the Social Hall on the third floor of the PHSIN campus, led by Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the Principal, Wilson M. Galvezo Jr. Meanwhile, the card distribution took place in the classrooms.

The activities aimed to strengthen communication and cooperation between parents and the school. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss important school matters, while Card Day allowed parents to receive and learn about their children's academic progress during the first term.

PHSIN'ians PARTICIPATE IN THE 3rd QUARTER EARTHQUAKE DRILL

Pasuquin High School of Ilocos Norte, Inc. (PHSIN) conducted its 3rd Quarter Earthquake Drill today, September 16, 2026, at the PHSIN campus. PHSIN'ians actively participated in the drill by evacuating their classrooms and running toward the designated areas in front of and behind the school's gates.

The activity aimed to strengthen students' preparedness and awareness during earthquake emergencies. It also helped PHSIN'ians practice proper evacuation procedures and develop quick and safe responses to protect themselves and others during an earthquake.

PHSIN CONDUCTS SIMEX ON SHOOTING INCIDENT PREPAREDNESS

The PNP Pasuquin, BFP Pasuquin, and MDRRMO Pasuquin conducted a Simulation Exercise (SIMEX) at Pasuquin High School of Ilocos Norte, Inc. (PHSIN) on September 4, 2026, focusing on the proper response to shooting incidents. The activity was evaluated by FIVSP Mark Ren G. Callo (BFP), PCPL Julius S. James (PNP), and Kevin Carl C. Republic (MDRRMO).

The SIMEX aimed to prepare students and school personnel for possible shooting incidents by practicing proper emergency responses and safety procedures. It also helped strengthen coordination among the school and local emergency response agencies to ensure a faster and more organized response during critical situations.

ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 4

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 134, alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented at all levels in public and private educational institutions in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 4, 2026, unless their respective Local Chief Executives direct the cancellation or suspension of classes:

PNP PASUQUIN CONDUCTS SAFETY SYMPOSIUM AT PHSIN

The PNP Pasuquin conducted a symposium at Pasuquin High School of Ilocos Norte, Inc. on August 26, 2026, focusing on the "RUN–ALERT–SECURE/HIDE–INFORM” response to active shooting incidents.

The symposium aimed to educate students on proper safety measures and appropriate actions during emergency situations. It also emphasized the importance of staying alert, knowing when to run or hide, and informing authorities to help ensure the safety of everyone.
