πŸ“’ REGIONAL VALIDATION FOR THE OFFERING OF CAREGIVING AS A GRADE 12 TECHPRO ELECTIVE πŸ“’

Today, our school underwent the Regional Validation for the proposed offering of Caregiving as an additional TechPro Elective under the Aesthetics, Wellness, and Human Care Cluster for Grade 12 learners.

We deeply appreciate Mam April Velez, Regional Education Program Supervisor and Regional SSHS Focal Person, Ma'am Nueva Mangaoang, Regional Education Program Supervisor II, and Sir Christopher Aguilar, Education Program Supervisor and Division SHS Focal Person for the thorough assessment and technical assistance extended during the validation. Key areas assessed include the availability and adequacy of equipment and facilities, alignment of subject offerings, availability of qualified teachers, class program, and the suitability of instructional and laboratory rooms. These measures ensure that the school is fully prepared to provide quality instruction and hands-on learning experiences for future caregiving students.

With only a few compliance requirements left to be submitted, the school is now on track and well-positioned to offer Caregiving as a Grade 12 TechPro elective.

This milestone reflects our continuous effort to expand learning opportunities and equip our learners with valuable skills that will prepare them for higher education, employment, and service-oriented careers.

πŸ“’ First General PTA Assembly Successfully Conducted! πŸ“’

Our school successfully held its First General Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Assembly for School Year 2026–2027, attended by the supportive parents and guardians of learners from Grades 7 to 12.

The assembly served as an important avenue for strengthening the partnership between the school and families in promoting the holistic development and success of our learners. Key matters discussed during the meeting included:

βœ… DepEd Mission, Vision, and Core Values
βœ… Updates on DepEd Curriculum Reforms
βœ… The Child Protection Policy and safeguarding learners' welfare
βœ… School Rules and Regulations
βœ… Academic expectations and school programs
βœ… Roles of parents in supporting learner achievement and discipline
βœ… Election of SPTA Officers

Through active participation and meaningful discussions, parents gained valuable insights into the school's goals, policies, and initiatives for the current school year.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all parents and guardians who attended and demonstrated their commitment to their children's education. Together, let us continue to foster a safe, nurturing, and productive learning environment for all our learners.
