TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY | National Disaster Resilience Month 2026 🌱

Theme: "Naghahanda at Kumikilos sa Panatag na Bagong Pilipinas"

In support of National Disaster Resilience Month 2026, Batuyanan Elementary School successfully conducted a Tree Planting Activity that highlighted the importance of environmental conservation, climate resilience and community participation.

Guided by this year's theme, we demonstrated that preparedness is not only about responding to disasters but also about taking proactive steps to protect our environment. By planting 20 different fruit tree species we are investing in a greener, healthier and more resilient future.

Each tree symbolizes hope, responsibility and our shared commitment to building sustainable communities. Through collective action and environmental stewardship, we help create a Panatag na Bagong Pilipinas where future generations can thrive.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the Philippine Red Cross – Passi City Chapter, the Schools Division of Passi City, teachers, learners, parents, volunteers and all stakeholders whose dedication made this activity a meaningful success.

2ND UNANNOUNCED EARTHQUAKE DRILL FOR THE MONTH OF JULY 2026

Batuyanan Elementary School successfully conducted its 2nd Unannounced Earthquake Drill on July 30, 2026, 03:01 PM as part of its continuous commitment to ensuring the safety, preparedness and resilience of every learner, teacher and school personnel.

Spearheaded by the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Team, under the leadership of Mr. Joven D. Caspillo, Principal I of Batuyanan Elementary School and with the coordination of the assigned School-based Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Coordinator, Ms. Rinaluz D. Lacsi, Administrative Officer II of Batuyanan Elementary School, the activity provided an opportunity for everyone to practice the proper Duck, Cover and Hold procedure and safe evacuation during emergency situations.

The successful conduct of this drill reflects our shared commitment to building a disaster-ready school community through cooperation, discipline and preparedness.

Together, we continue to strengthen our culture of safety because preparedness today saves lives tomorrow.

HAYO, HINAY, HINGA at HINTO: Ang 4-Level Learning Continuity Framework ng DepEd

Ang HAYO, HINAY, HINGA at HINTO ay ang apat na antas ng Learning Continuity Framework ng Department of Education (DepEd) sa ilalim ng DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026. Layunin nitong gabayan ang mga paaralan sa pagpapatupad ng angkop, flexible at localized na mga hakbang upang matiyak ang kaligtasan at pagpapatuloy ng pagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral sa panahon ng mga kalamidad, emergency at iba pang krisis.

1. HAYO (Magpatuloy)

Kailan ginagamit: Kapag ligtas at normal ang kalagayan ng paaralan at komunidad.

Aksyon:

Tuloy-tuloy ang regular na face-to-face classes.

Isinasagawa ang mga nakaplanong aralin at gawain sa paaralan.

Walang kinakailangang pagbabago sa learning delivery.

2. HINAY (Dahan-dahan)

Kailan ginagamit: Kapag may banayad o katamtamang abala na maaaring makaapekto sa pag-aaral.

Aksyon:

Binabawasan ang bigat ng akademikong gawain.

Nagiging mas flexible ang iskedyul at pamamaraan ng pagtuturo.

Maaaring gamitin ang mga alternatibong learning modalities kung kinakailangan.

3. HINGA (Pamamahinga at Pagkumusta)

Kailan ginagamit: Sa panahon ng mas seryosong emergency o sitwasyong may malaking epekto sa kapakanan ng mga mag-aaral at g**o.

Aksyon:

Prayoridad ang psychosocial support at mental health.

Nagkakaroon ng check-in activities upang masubaybayan ang kalagayan ng mga mag-aaral.

Pinapagaan o pansamantalang binabawasan ang mga akademikong gawain.

4. HINTO (Pansamantalang Paghinto)

Kailan ginagamit: Kapag may matinding panganib sa kaligtasan, malawakang kalamidad o kinakailangang paglikas ng komunidad.

Aksyon:

Pansamantala o ganap na itinitigil ang mga gawaing pang-akademiko.

Prayoridad ang kaligtasan at proteksyon ng lahat.

Ang pagpapatuloy ng mga klase ay ibabatay sa pagtatasa ng sitwasyon ng paaralan at komunidad.

Sa ilalim ng patakarang ito, binibigyang kapangyarihan ang mga School Head, sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Schools Division Superintendent at mga Local Government Unit (LGU), na magpatupad ng granular o localized suspension ng klase upang matugunan ang aktuwal na kalagayan ng kanilang mga nasasakupan.
