Its main task is the effective implementation and monitoring of rules and regulations, working hand-in-hand with the local governments of Pasig City, Mandaluyong City, and Quezon City. Silerio (2010-2016), Thomas Lee O (2016-2020), Catherine Casares-Ko (2020-2021), and Hilario Romil A. Acosta, Jr. (2021-present). At present, 192 member properties comprise OCAI. These properties are a mixture of commercial and business establishments, corporate, and residential condominiums, as well as schools, and churches, owned by some of the leading companies from the business, commercial, and real estate sectors. OCAI covers the area bounded by Ortigas Avenue on the northeast, Meralco Avenue on the east-southeast, Shaw Boulevard on the southwest, and Epifanio de Los Santos Avenue (EDSA) on the northwest. The total area is 1,082,891.2 square meters, which falls under the jurisdiction of the cities of Pasig, Mandaluyong, and Quezon City.

OCAI Operations Manager Arch. Raul Venturina attended the 2026 ARISE Philippines Annual General Membership Meeting at the Henry Sy Auditorium at the SM Prime, Inc. Headquarters in Pasay City.
The event was led by ARISE Philippines Executive Director Joseph B. Bacareza, with ARISE Philippines Chairperson Hans T. Sy and ARISE Philippines Co-Chairperson Engr. Liza B. Silerio. Office of Civil Defense Administrator Undersecretary and National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council Executive Director Harold N. Cabreros gave an inspirational message.
As part of its ongoing efforts and commitment to become a more disaster resilient central business district, OCAI joined ARISE Philippines, a local network of the UNDRR ARISE (the Private Sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies). ARISE Philippines aims to bring together members of the private sector and other stakeholders to "raise awareness, share knowledge, influence, catalyze, and implement" projects and activities that will reduce disaster risk and losses in lives, livelihoods, and health in various sectors of society.
