On March 13, 2025, Santolan High School demonstrated true preparedness during an unannounced National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED)! Without prior notice, students, teachers, and staff responded swiftly and responsibly, showcasing their readiness for real emergencies.
The drill was expertly coordinated by the Santolan High School Batang Empowered and Resilient Team (BERT) and the Santolan HS SBDRRMC, with support from the MAPEH Departmentโs medical team. This spontaneous drill put everyoneโs training to the test, proving that the Santolan High School community is ready to handle unexpected situations.

EARTHQUAKE ALERT: Isang magnitude 5.4 na lindol ang tumama sa katubigan ng Calatagan, Batangas bandang alas 6:43 ng gabi, Enero 20, 2025, ayon sa PHIVOLCS. May lalim ito na 74 km.
