📢 NEW DEPED GUIDELINES ON LEARNING CONTINUITY DURING EMERGENCIES

At Young Brighter Learning Center Inc., the safety, well-being, and continuous learning of our students remain our highest priority.

The Department of Education (DepEd) has introduced DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2026, a new Learning Continuity Framework that helps schools make informed decisions on class suspensions and learning delivery during emergencies.

🟢 The 4 Learning Continuity Levels

✅ HAYO (Continue)
📚 Regular face-to-face classes continue when conditions are safe.

🟡 HINAY (Ease-in)
💻 Classes shift to flexible or online learning during minor disruptions.

🟠 HINGA (Check-in)
❤️ Student well-being comes first. Academic requirements are reduced while teachers check in with learners.

🔴 HINTO (Stop)
🛑 Classes are temporarily suspended when safety and basic needs are at risk.

🌧️ Why this matters

Instead of implementing blanket class suspensions, schools can now coordinate with local authorities to make community-based decisions depending on the actual situation in affected areas.
