I became an artist when I was 16 years old.
And looking to this painting …
I realized art was never just teaching me how to draw.
It was teaching me patience.
Because not every artwork turns out the way you want right away.
Some take time.
Some frustrate you.
Some make you want to stop halfway.
And some there’s a choice that you want to quit.
Yet you still continue.
Not because you’re sure it will be perfect…
but because you learn to fall in love with becoming better with every strokes you’re making.
And I think life works the same way.
The life we want isn’t built in one big moment.
It’s built in the days you still choose to show up.
The days you keep going even when progress feels quiet.
The days you trust God even when things don’t fully make sense yet.
And maybe that’s why I’m learning not to rush life too much anymore.
Because just like art…
the real beauty was never in finishing fast.
It was in allowing the process
to shape you with humility, patience, and faith along the way. 🤍
