Bambang Elementary School, is one of the five schools in School District II (Pasig II) which include San Joaquin Elementary School, Dr. Sixto Antonio Elementary School, Buting Elementary School and Kalawaan Elementary School. It came to existence in 1950, as an annex of Dr. Sixto Antonio Elementary School so it was formerly recognized as Dr. Sixto Antonio Elem School Unit I. Most of our pupils gen

erally come from low- income families who need priority assistance from the local government. Despite of this economic situation, it has gained its present status of Standardized Institution with remarkable achievement. From a four – room building on a 2,801 square meter lot, the annex became a complete primary school in 1963 and in 1965 it became independent with complete elementary school still bearing the name Dr. Sixto Antonio Elementary School (Unit I) with 513 pupils and 12 teachers including the Teacher –In –Charge. Since then its growth and development were tremendous through the untiring efforts and dedication of the succession of administrators, teachers, PTA and civic spirited citizen changes have been made. In 1984, as per Batasang Pambansa , the name Dr. Sixto Antonio School (Unit I) was change to Bambang Elementary School. From its humble existence up to present, the great improvement and the physical plant and facilities can be attributed to the leadership of the administrators who continuously maintained and monitor its physical facilities, academic performance, curriculum and teachers’ needs as the leadership turn over from one administration to another. And of course, the pride of its remarkable achievements in academic and extracurricular activities was the contribution and great efforts exerted by the changing administrators, teachers, pupils, cooperative parents and the local government units who are always there to support the needs of the growing population of the school.

𝗕𝗮𝗘𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗚 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀’ 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽

BaES successfully held the Supreme Elementary Learners Government (SELG) Election on February 11, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM, with learners actively participating in choosing their new student leaders.

The activity was conducted in an orderly and supervised manner, allowing pupils to exercise their right to vote and take part in a democratic process. Through the election, learners were encouraged to value leadership, responsibility, and active involvement in school affairs.

The newly elected SELG officers are expected to lead programs and initiatives that will represent the voice and interests of BaES learners.

𝗕𝗮𝗘𝗦 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗚 𝗠𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗲 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

BaES conducted its Supreme Elementary Learners Government (SELG) Miting de Avance on February 10, 2026, at 7:30 AM, providing a platform for candidates to present their plans and leadership goals before the school community.

Participating in the activity were the following party lists: Partido Makabansa, Partido Maka-Diyos, Partido Makatao, Partido Makakalikasan, and Partido Matatag. Each group introduced their candidates and shared their proposed programs for learners and the school.

Teachers facilitated the program and asked questions to each set of candidates, allowing them to explain their platforms, leadership values, and readiness to serve. The activity helped learners become more informed about the candidates ahead of the SELG election.

The Miting de Avance highlighted the importance of student leadership, responsible voting, and active participation in school governance.

This is a special opportunity for our young learners to exercise their right to vote and choose the next set of student leaders who will represent their voice, ideas, and aspirations.

Let us support and encourage all learners to participate actively and responsibly. Together, we build a stronger school community through leadership, cooperation, and respect.

Bambang Elementary School officially opened its In-Service Training (INSET) for teachers with the theme “Enhancing Teacher Capacity for Bridging Gaps in Literacy, Numeracy, and Ensuring Quality Learning Outcomes.” The first day of the training was held at the BaES Covered Grounds, gathering teachers for a series of sessions aimed at strengthening instructional practices and deepening their understanding of key curriculum and performance frameworks.

The opening session, “Coping with Challenges in the Implementation of the Enhanced K to 12 Curriculum in Classroom Instruction,” was facilitated by Edwin Noche, MT I, and Dennis T. Didulo, MT II. The discussion focused on addressing persistent barriers in delivering the curriculum and identifying strategies to support learners with diverse needs.

This was followed by a timely briefing on the RPMS Cycle for 2025–2026, presented by Alfredo Dones, MT I, where teachers were guided on updated processes and expectations for professional growth and development.

To cap the day, Rolan L. Toche, Principal I, led the session on the Performance Management and Evaluation System for Teachers, emphasizing accountability, continuous improvement, and alignment with school goals to ensure quality learning outcomes.

Day 1 concluded with renewed commitment from teachers to further enhance instruction in literacy and numeracy, setting a strong direction for the succeeding days of training.

November 14, 2025 - Bambang Elementary School, in partnership with Brgy. Bambang, held 𝘒𝘸𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘶𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘢 𝘉𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘺 as part of its English Month celebration themed “English as a Global Language: Bridging Cultures and Connecting the World.”

The event featured a storytelling session of Batang Bambang by Kagawad Bianca Bernardo and a lively question-and-answer portion led by the school’s English teachers. Learners enthusiastically participated, earning gifts and prizes for their responses.

The activity highlighted the importance of English in connecting cultures while fostering community engagement and learning among students.

In a heartwarming celebration of generosity and collaboration, Teleperformance Philippines reaffirmed its commitment to education through a turnover ceremony held at Bambang Elementary School. The event underscored the company’s continued advocacy for supporting learners and fostering community growth.
