AmberJive! is an all-male a ca****la choir that is based in Amber Drive University Center (Amber, for short). AmberJive! Robert Z.

was born when in June 2010, upon the suggestion of friends, Mr. Cortes, its conductor, gathered some students and friends who frequented Amber, to engage in what they all loved doing: a ca****la singing. AmberJive!'s basic bonds are thus two: love for music and friendship. The members come from all the year levels of the University of Asia and the Pacific, 1st to 5th year. started simply as one mo

re alternative in Amber to spend one's free time well - at least for those who had some inclination to music. Thus, all of us are in AmberJive! simply as a hobby, albeit a serious hobby. Most of AmberJive!'s members have never had experience in choral singing or in reading sheet music before joining. However, after a lot of practice and coaching, each member has grown in his knowledge of and appreciation for choral singing, singing techniques, and different musical genres and styles. Although known mostly to sing Gregorian chants and other forms of sacred music, AmberJive! has performed and experiments on both traditional and contemporary musical genres that include novelty, pop, barbershop, R&B, and jazz. For the moment, as an amateur choir, AmberJive! simply wants to make good music, share it, and help those who listen to them enjoy special musical moments. CHOIRMASTER : Robert Z. Cortes
