Through every step of this path, I’ve learned that true engagement and learning starts with listening.

When we listen with a heart, we create a space where a quiet realization can finally take root: "I am valued"

Action then speaks with clear intentionality right from the very beginning. It becomes so much more than a routine; it comes with:

- a PLAN surrendered to God
- a RESPONSE to connect
- a RELATIONSHIP to build and nurture

I'm really looking forward to seeing every representative working towards a more inclusive community there alongside our international music therapist, Ms. Sherrene Teh, and our very own Ms. Thea Tolentino as one of our guest music therapist workshop facilitators!

Sinong mag-aalaga sa nag-aalaga? Who takes care of the caregiver?

In holistic care, music therapy isn't just a tool for the person who needs care—it's a sustainable practice for the professional too.

Araw-araw, ang mga teachers, therapists, caregivers, at doktor ay nagbibigay ng oras at space para sa iba- tuning in to a child’s sensory needs or supporting a patient’s healing journey.

How do we ensure that we can sustain the mission if tayo mismo pagod na?

Our guest local music therapist, Althea Tolentino, will be leading us into how music therapy can restore, calm, and sustain our overall well-being.

Parents need to collaborate with the professionals and v.v.

Predictable musical patterns and structure create a safe space where children can engage and regulate their emotions.

The steady beat helps synchronize the children’s nervous systems. Hesitant or shy children participate easily because the pattern is familiar and they can anticipate when their turn is coming, creating a sense of safety.

Children enjoy the 'in-the-moment' connection that music brings.

In English:

"One of the most joyful aspects of making music together is the natural spontaneous connection and experience it creates.

Children truly thrive on the 'in-the-moment' connection that music provides. Their undivided attention, paired with our shared body gestures, is more than enough to bring immense joy."
