CAMPUS ADVISORY | SHIFT TO ONLINE LEARNING FOR AUGUST 20, 2026

To our LAI Families:

Due to persistent severe weather, localized flooding, and hazardous road conditions across several student communities, all classes will transition to an online learning modality for Thursday, August 20.

Our Crisis Response Team (CRT) has determined that transitioning online is the most prudent decision to ensure the safety and well-being of our entire community while providing continuous, purposeful learning.

• Academic Modality: Online learning for all grade levels (Thursday, August 20)

• Instructional Plans & Schedules: Specific divisional timetables and learning expectations will be communicated directly by your Lower and Upper School principals via email.

• After-School Activities: All on-campus athletics training, co-curriculars, and student clubs are canceled for tomorrow.

• Official Updates: Further updates regarding campus operations will be shared promptly through our official school channels.

CAMPUS ADVISORY | ONLINE CLASS CANCELLATION for AUGUST 19, 2026

To our LAI Community:

Following the latest Red Rainfall Warning issued by authorities, the Crisis Response Team has updated our status in accordance with the school’s Weather Policy.

All classes and school-related activities are officially canceled today.

Key Details for Today:

• No Online Classes: There will be no synchronous or asynchronous sessions.

• No Class Submissions: Students are not required to log in to Google Classroom or Google Meet, and no asynchronous tasks will be assigned.

• Offices: On-campus operations remain suspended to ensure the safety of our personnel.

To our LAI Families:

Due to persistent rainfall, localized flooding, and hazardous road conditions across several student communities, all classes will transition to an online learning modality for Wednesday, August 19.

Our Crisis Response Team (CRT) has determined that transitioning online is the most prudent step to ensure the safety and well-being of our community while providing seamless, uninterrupted learning for our students.

• Academic Modality: Online learning for all grade levels (Wednesday, August 19)

• Instructional Details: Specific divisional timetables and learning expectations will be emailed directly by the Lower and Upper School principals.

There may not have been much of a sunrise that morning, but there was certainly a beautiful beginning for our Class of 2027.

The rain may have slightly changed the plans, but it didn’t stop our seniors from showing up early and making their last first day a morning to remember! The Student Council and our Student Life department put this special event together for our seniors to give them a chance to worship, share, laugh, and simply enjoy being together as they began their final year.

Over breakfast, they worshipped together and dedicated their last first day of high school to the Lord. They shared their hopes and fears for their final year of high school and found time to dance even under gloomy skies.

And then came one of our favorite moments: they grabbed their pompoms and headed to the entrances to welcome the younger students on their first day. From the NXTGEN lobby, to the LAI building, to the cafeteria, our seniors were there cheering on the next generation of Lightbearers.

This year, we’re all learning to Cultivate at LAI: to nurture what God has planted in us, grow together, and make room for others to flourish. So Class of 2027, here’s to your last first day. May this be a year of deep roots, meaningful growth, and a harvest that blesses others. ❤️

Our Crisis Response Team (CRT) has determined that this proactive shift is the most prudent step to ensure the safety and well-being of our entire school community while maintaining uninterrupted learning.

• Learning Modality: Online learning for all grade levels (Tuesday, August 18)

Due to the PAGASA weather alert being raised to Orange, dismissal today will begin early at 12:00 PM for the safety and well-being of all students.

• Dismissal Time: 12:00 PM onward
• Pick-Up Location: Regular campus pick-up points (please ensure your Parent ID or Fetcher’s ID is ready for smooth verification)

After carefully monitoring the current weather conditions, the forecast for today, and reports of flooding across several communities represented within our school, Life Academy International's Crisis Response Team (CRT) has determined that students will shift to an online learning modality today.

Each division will communicate its specific online learning schedule, expectations, and instructional plans in through email. Please watch for communication from your child's division with those details.

Online class will start at 8:30 AM.

To our LAI Families:

Due to continued inclement weather, persistent rainfall, and the increasing risk of flooding in the surrounding areas, Life Academy International’s Crisis Response Team has determined that it is unsafe to hold onsite operations.

Accordingly, all classes, school activities, offices, and departments will be closed tomorrow, Monday, August 10.

The safety and well-being of our students, families, faculty, and staff remain our highest priority. We encourage all families to remain indoors, avoid unnecessary travel, and continue monitoring official local channels.
