The University Student Government (USG) of the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) subscribes to the corporate vision of the University to offer holistic formation grounded on wisdom, solidarity, and professional competence; the normative, administrative, and tradition-building structures of the University which embody this corporate vision; and the principles of subsidiarity and solidarity.

The UA&P - USG commits itself to serving the student body by promoting the common good, enhancing the holistic formation administered to the students, help achieve legitimate goals pursued in common by students and other sectors in the University, and preserve in the University a professional and family atmosphere conducive to the integral development of the students.

In accordance with the recommendation of the Natural Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, the Presidential Communications Office has announced the suspension of all face-to-face classes for ALL LEVELS tomorrow, August 20, 2026.

This is because of the anticipated heavy rainfall associated with the Southwest Monsoon that may pose as a risk for floods and travel hazards to come.

Classes may be conducted synchronously or asynchronously. Please prioritize your own safety and stay updated through official news channels. Don't hesitate to approach the USG!

In accordance with the Pasig City Information Office's suspension announcement, face-to-face classes are suspended for ALL LEVELS tomorrow, August 18, 2026.

This is as a result of Metro Manila's current situation with bad weather conditions due to the Habagat.

ADDENDUM: Onsite classes will be suspended starting 1:30 PM.

In accordance with Circular No. 125 released by the MalacaΓ±ang Palace, face-to-face classes are suspended for ALL LEVELS this afternoon, August 17, 2026.

This is as recommended by the NDRRMC due to the continued heavy rainfall.

The campus will remain open to accomodate students. Please prioritize your own safety and stay updated through official news channels. Don't hesitate to approach the USG!

Through Kapit Kapitolyo, we were able to accumulate a total of β‚±2,000 in monetary donations as well as 6 boxes of in-kind relief support from our community. All collected donations were turned over to Barangay Kapitolyo on August 13, 2026, for distribution to families affected by the recent fire.

We sincerely thank everyone who helped and contributed to the donation drive. Every donation helped us extend our support to the families as they begin to rebuild and recover. 🀍

Let’s celebrate and honor the 59th Foundation Day of our beloved university and home, UA&P, ! πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠ

Today, we don’t just celebrate the evolution of UA&P throughout the 59 years that has passed since its creation, but rather, we celebrate everyone who made UA&P possibleβ€”from the students to the faculty to the administration to the alumni dating all the way back to our very first batch. Each and every person in this place we call home adds a new chapter to UA&P’s history of creating well-rounded leaders who can make an impact on society.
