This week, our Primary students wore their unique and creative hats and enjoyed fun activities that helped them learn about kindness and connect with their classmates, schoolmates, and teachers.

Throughout the year, we'll keep wearing our H.A.T.S — 𝓗𝓮𝓵𝓹𝓲𝓷𝓰-𝓐𝓵𝓵-𝓣𝓸-𝓢𝓾𝓬𝓬𝓮𝓮𝓭 attitude — by choosing to be kind each day. ❤️

𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙙 🩹💪🏻

Last week, our Claymores basketball varsity and Scythe volleyball varsity teams took part in a First Aid and Basic Life Support Training, facilitated by HOPE Rescue EMS. We are grateful that this opportunity helped equip our student-athletes with essential skills to respond, assist, and keep each other safe on and off the court. 🏀🏐

𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬, 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

Last August 4 to 7, the Class Advisers met with the students and parents of their respective grade levels and sections. Here, the advisers got to know more about the parents and students while also informing them about the school's policies and other reminders for the start of the school year. 📝

Through these meetings, the parents, students, and teachers have built stronger relationships to deepen their partnership in supporting and encouraging the students.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡-𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 🤍

Yesterday, the faculty and staff of GCF-ICS participated in a "𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗼 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸," where they divided themselves into groups, walked around the building, and prayed for the different areas that the faculty, staff, students, churchgoers, and visitors alike use regularly.

This is done so that, in faith, God's goodness and blessing may cover not just the four corners of the rooms, but all the activities that will be held in it.

𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒: ✅ 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃

The Faculty of GCF-ICS just attended a workshop entitled "𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦: 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗜-𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀" where they learned more about how to improve the means of assessing their students in an era where the use of Artificial Intelligence is not only prevalent, but also inevitable.

With the help of the resource speaker, Pearl Diane Asuncion, and the activities she facilitated in the event, the teachers' knowledge regarding the important matter has been elevated to the next level! ⚡
