📣 ANNOUNCEMENT! || Free Breast Screening and Cervical Mammogram Event on November 05, 2022 💗

Greetings of empowerment! 🌷 For all expected participants, please proceed to our venue (Basketball Grounds of Mae Building) as the event shall start by 9:00 AM.

We encourage everyone to attend as early as possible for our event so we may start formally. Please be guided according and see you there! 💗

📣 ACTIVITY REMINDERS || Free Breast Screening and Cervical Mammogram Event on November 05, 2022 💗

1. The activity will start at 9:00AM. There will be a short orientation about the screening.

2. The activity area will be at the Basketball Court of Mae Building.

3. All participants are expected to register at the registration to present their number for the said screening.

4. Bring your own ballpen to be used to fill up necessary forms needed by the Philippine Cancer Society.

Please be guided accordingly. See you all there! 💗

💌 Calling all female teachers at Rizal High School! 💗

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month— this month became nationally recognized in 1985 with the aim of increasing the early detection of the disease by encouraging women to have mammograms.
On November 5, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the Zonta Club of Metro-Ortigas, with the support of the Z Club of Rizal High School, is encouraging all female teachers at Rizal High School to receive FREE breast and cervical cancer screenings.

Furthermore, seminars about self-assessment on the breast will also be discussed by certified doctors. With that said, we highly encourage our teachers to avail the offered services. Z-Club of Rizal High School looks forward to everyone's participation there! 💗🌷🌷

NOTE: The days of the conduct of the said activities can be extended depending on the number of teachers who will register.

Greetings to everyone! We, the Z Club of RHS, are joining the campaign to END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN.

According to the 2017 National Demographic and Health Survey conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, one in every four Filipino women between the ages 15 to 49 has been physically, emotionally, or sexually abused by their husband or partner.

Gender roles are one of the elements that contribute to domestic violence in the Philippines. Some men accused their partners of neglecting their obligations as wives, which is why they are beaten. Many victims remain silent because they feel ashamed of what happened. While others prefer to dismiss their complaints due to a lack of faith in the Philippines' justice system.

Domestic violence has a negative impact on a person's mental and emotional well-being as well as their physical and reproductive health.

Empower yourself and others to fight for their rights. Put an end to all forms of violence!
