🚂 WAIT… IS THAT REALLY A TRAIN? 👀
Or is it a bridge?
A vehicle carrying tiny passengers?

For an LIS kid, there’s no single “right” way to build. There’s only one exciting question:
“What can I create next?” 💡

A few magnetic tiles become a world of possibilities—where little hands build, little minds wonder and big ideas begin.
At LIS, this is what we mean by learning through play❤️

"Play is essential for all children, birth through age 8." NAEYC further states that children need daily, sustained opportunities for play, both indoors and outdoors, because play supports self-regulation, language, cognitive development, physical competence and school success. - National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) guidelines and recommendations for developmentally appropriate practice.

The evidence consistently shows that free play is not "time away from learning." It is one of the most effective ways young children develop the cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language skills that prepare them for success in school and in life.

At LIS, we don’t just make room for play. We make play part of learning.

Only our LIS kids know this feeling …
Running to the Mulberry tree,
Tiny hands reaching,
Purple-stained fingers,
The sweetest harvest of summer!

Now that the rain is here, we’re missing these little moments even more.
Until the sunshine returns…

🍃 Every leaf tells a story.

As our little learners explored the Letter L, they were building the foundations of lifelong learning. Every touch, sort and discovery strengthened their fine motor skills, focus, sensory awareness, vocabulary and early literacy.🌿

🌱 Small hands. Big discoveries. Lifelong learning begins here.
