Powering Up Green Futures for the Youth!

In Legazpi, over 70 leaders from the public and private sectors, higher education institutions, NGOs, and the youth community joined the sensitization workshop.

Participants explored key opportunities within the blue and green economy, focusing on sustainable practices like solar energy, automation, data digitization, and energy-efficient logistics. The workshop also highlighted new training and employment pathways for out-of-school youth in this growing sector. 🌍✨

With the training and support from Tagbilaran City Youth Development Alliance and our , she has gained valuable experience, knowledge, skills, and the confidence to start her baking venture.

Discussions highlighted the Philippine Green Jobs Act explained by the Department of Labor and Employment - DOLE, the impacts of climate change presented by the City Environment Management Office, and pathways for youth to transition into green jobs and enterprises.
