We are inviting all Junior College and University female students to a retreat-seminar titled 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗲𝘀: 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 from 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟯-𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Young women today face a world marked by pressure, comparison, and constant noise. Many struggle to ask: 𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘢𝘮 𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺? 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘮 𝘐 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨? 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭? In an audience with young people, Pope Francis reminded them, “You are not a photocopy. You are the original. Be the person God created you to be” (General Audience, 4 January 2017). This retreat-seminar responds to that need for deeper grounding and personal clarity, allowing participants to pause, look up, and rediscover the purpose written uniquely for each of us.

𝘉𝘦𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘦𝘴 will largely consist of workshops which will be a mix of creative arts activities, introspection, and sharing. There will also be guest speakers and bonding time. Prayer and reflection will take place at key points during the day. All in all, the activity promises enrichment and growth for those who will attend!

The retreat-seminar has been endorsed by UA&P’s Center for Student Affairs to Balanghai Study Center, a project of the Kalinangan Youth Foundation, Inc. (KALFI). Staff members from Balanghai will accompany the students and facilitate the event. Slots are limited and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost of the retreat-seminar is Php 4000, which covers the board, lodging, and food for the three days.

The venue is at Makiling Conference Center - West Wing, a project of the Philippine Foundation for Cultural and Educational Development, Inc. (PFCED). West Wing is in Calamba, Laguna; more details of transportation to and from the venue will be provided.

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered at the Sancta Maria Stella Orientis Oratory on 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 (𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲) at 10:00 a.m.

The Confirmation Rites at UA&P are open to all baptized Catholic students, alumni, and employees of the University, as well as their immediate family members who are at least 15 years old and have received the needed doctrinal preparation.

Hello, everyone!

We'd like to remind all students, especially our freshmen, about the importance of wearing your IDs.

According to the University Student Handbook 2025-2026, pages 126-128, you are required to:

* Wear your ID at all times. You must have a valid UA&P ID on you whenever you are on university premises.
* Tap when you enter and exit. Remember to tap your ID at the card reader when you enter and exit, and you must present your ID to the proper school authorities upon request.
* The ID should be worn where it is most visible. The ID should be worn where it is noticeable so that it will be easy to identify students. Hence, students are required to wear their IDs properly using an ID lace/lanyard.

Please make wearing your ID a part of your daily routine. It is the easiest way for our security team to ensure that everyone on campus is a recognized member of our community and to prevent unauthorized individuals from being on campus. Also, in the event of an emergency, a visible ID helps first responders and staff quickly identify and account for students.

We highly encourage all students to look their best every day by wearing business casual attire. This type of attire is comfortable but still professional in overall appearance.

As members of the UA&P community, our appearance is a reflection of our collective culture. Dressing well is a crucial aspect of our personal and professional growth.

It shows respect for our institution and for one another. Each one is free to express personal style for as long as he or she can reflect and uphold the university’s standards of simplicity, elegance, and decency.

According to the University Student Handbook 2025-2026, page 130, Business Casual means:

For this extension period, claiming of APE Referral Slips will be done exclusively at the USC First Aid Station (Weekdays, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.).
