Book collecting is not a hobby--it is fate. It's one of my occupations, err obsession.

Chanced upon in Vermisa yesterday. No choice siya kundi ibigay sa akin ang display e. Tagal ko nang gusto nito, hindi natuloy-tuloy kasi hindi ko alam hitsura. Kaya pagkakita ko, hindi ako umalis nang hindi sila pumayag. Hehe. Thank you so much for giving in to this book add**t.

Summer officially begins (for me).

Finally graduating from elementary school, my little lady will be allowed to read "Little Women." Hehe.

While generally recommended for 10-14 year-old, I don't want her to think of adult stuff like death and betrayal.

But now that there's no delaying that she might "suffer" later hehe, I'd like her to see better friendship and sisterhood, growing up, and life lessons through this classic.

Andi started to ask questions about Greek mythology (after watching some Percy Jackson clips) and she's not stopping anytime soon. So, I handed her my old Edith Hamilton book I bought when I was in 4th year high school (oh my, that was some decades ago)!

I first read it as a requirement from my English class, but to Andi, I think it was out of curiosity.

So, I guess, this is it!

She's officially hooked to reading for life!

Let me just tell you when she's finished with the these two.

Murder Your Employer, by Rupert Holmes, is a 2023 mystery novel. The book, composed of 52 chapters, tells about a clandestine college dedicated to the fine art of murder where earnest students study how best to delete their most deserving victim.

Reading it was fun.

The story is a mix of witty wordplay, breathtaking twists and genuine intrigue.

The students include Cliff Iverson, a journal-writing, thoughtful student; Gemma Lindley, an earnest student from Northumberland; and Doria Maye, a Hollywood actress in disguise. All of them are in this Harry Potter world for adults learning to erase someone. And their thesis focuses on perfecting a murder without getting caught.

Well... book shopping is one of most exciting things ever.

Bought last night.
Started reading at 10am.
Done at 12nn.

I Intentionally (or not, my husband can contest about that) leave books lying around the house to pique my children’s curiosity. I want them to ask questions about the titles, covers and stories, and ultimately, to read books, and develop a love for them.

Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.

So, can I just do them daily?
