December 14, 2025. This year, our Christmas team lunch is the same day as the blessing of our new center, CRAIN Alabang!

Thank you Teacher Vic for cooking our extra special lunch (Christmas cocido) and to Teacher Tasha for hosting!
We enjoyed story-telling, listening to each one's heartfelt Christmas message, small-gifts grabbing, spot awards, telestrations and lots of food. We are truly blessed!

Congratulations, CRAIN team for a fruitful 2025. More to come in 2026! Happy holidays!

The NCCA proudly joins Filipinos in championing Filipino literature and joins the celebration of National Book Week! 📚

Carrying the theme "Tulay ang pagbasa sa bukas na puno ng pag-asa", this year’s National Book Week (Nov 24–28), highlights the power of reading not just as a pastime, but as a bridge to our shared heritage and future.

As the government’s cultural arm, we reaffirm our commitment to nurturing a reading habit that strengthens identity, sparks imagination, and fuels nation-building. Let us honor our libraries, uplift our storytellers, and open the pages that connect us to the heart of our collective soul. 🌧 BE FLOOD-READY, FAMILIES.
A new typhoon is approaching Luzon this weekend.
Let’s prepare, not just our homes, but our hearts. 💙

🪣 Preparation lessens panic.
When kids know what’s happening, they feel safer.
When families plan together, they stay calmer.

💡 Before the storm:
• Pack go bags: clothes, food, meds, flashlight, docs.
• Move valuables up high.
• Charge phones.
• Talk to your kids about what to expect.
• Don’t forget your pets!

🌊 During the storm:
• Follow PAGASA and LGU updates.
• Evacuate early if near rivers or flood-prone areas.
• Keep calm. Your calm helps your child feel safe.

☀️ After the flood:
• Wait for clearance before returning home.
• Avoid floodwater.
• Listen to your children’s stories. It helps them recover.

📚 Teacher Zarah’s Disaster Ready Kids books: Fire, Earthquake, Flood, Volcano, use stories to help kids prepare mentally and emotionally for disasters. Because being ready is an act of love.
