You may now see the creative and innovative proposals of our talented Re-terra Winners (Team Anarchi), our Finalists and 10 other shortlisted teams.
Through this exhibit, we hope to open your minds to the possibilities of urban agriculture and to the possibility of a greener, food-secure and sustainable Philippines 🇵🇭

"Early in the year, the young and passionate group of RE-TERRA, headed by architect Kathleen Encorporado, teamed up with the DA to conduct a design competition for young architects. The idea is to bring food production into people’s daily lives not only by altering the traditional food systems but allowing the city to achieve food security."

Congratulations to Jan Mark Vargas of Team 1013 - Sibol for winning the Sustainability Award!
According to East West Seed, Project Sibol best demonstrated sustainability with their successful integration of community involvement, and traditional and modern vegetable production techniques in their design. They also appreciate how this proposal is easily scalable and replicable to different parts of the city.
