At Kalayaan National High School, the safety, protection, and well-being of every learner remain our highest priority.

In collaboration with the School Guidance Office and the Learner Formation Office (LFO), the “Speak Up. Build Character. Make Schools Safe” reporting system has been implemented and displayed throughout the school premises since the opening of School Year 2026–2027. This initiative provides a safe, accessible, and confidential platform for reporting concerns such as bullying, cyberbullying, discrimination, harassment, threats, and other issues that may affect the safety and well-being of our learners.

Kalayaan National High School proudly participated in the Simultaneous Flag Raising Ceremony in commemoration of the 10th Anniversary of the 2016 South China Sea Arbitral Award, held on July 12, 2026, in partnership with the Philippine National Police – Aviation Security Group (PNP AVSEGROUP).

This nationwide observance, initiated by the National Security Council (NSC), aims to deepen learners’ and educators’ understanding of the Philippines’ sovereignty, sovereign rights, jurisdiction, and lawful maritime entitlements. It also seeks to foster patriotism, active citizenship, and respect for the rule of law among the Filipino youth.
