As for 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 14? We pressed pause on the campaign—because 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 💝 deserves the 𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒕𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 for at least one day a year! (As we mentioned last time!)

But from 𝑴𝒐𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒚 to 𝒕𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝑻𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒅𝒂𝒚, we’ve been making our rounds for the room-to-room campaigns! Though our academic responsibilities 📚 kept us from covering every corner, it just proves that 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 are 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁—but so is making our 𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒅.🗣️

So, 𝗞𝗡𝗛𝗦𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀! Tomorrow is the 𝑴𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒅𝒆 𝑨𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆! Be there, observe, scrutinize, and let’s choose wisely!

T: Bilang isang lider-estudyante, ano ang iyong pananaw kaugnay sa pagbabalanse ng mga responsibilidad na pang-akademiko at pang-organisasyon?

S: Alam kong parehong mabigat ang responsibilidad at commitment sa akademiko at organisasyon. Sa aking pananaw, ang isang lider-studyante ay dapat marunong magbalanse ng dalawang aspetong ito, at hindi kailangang isakripisyo ang alinman sa mga ito. Malaki ang tungkulin ng pagiging isang mag-aaral, gayundin ng pagiging isang lider ng mga mag-aaral. Kaya naman, sa posisyon ko, layunin kong maging huwaran sa aking mga kapwa mag-aaral at patunayan na kaya kong pagsabayin ang mga responsibilidad na ipagkakaloob sa akin.

T: Sa paanong paraan ka makatutulong upang tugunan ang ilang mga suliranin na kinahaharap ng ating paaralan?

S: Bilang nagnanais maging lider ng mga mag-aaral, isang paraan na aking nakikita ay ang pagkakaroon ng bukas na mata, tainga, at isang tinig na handang magpahayag ng mga problema ng bawat isa. Pagkatapos ng halalan, wala nang mga partido, kundi isang buong grupo na handang magsanib-puwersa upang magdulot ng tunay na pagbabago. Bilang nagnanais maging Presidente ng SSLG, naninindigan akong magdadala ako ng mga konkretong hakbang at mga solusyon sa mga problemang kinakaharap natin. Makikinig ako sa boses ng bawat isa, at magbibigay ng mabisang aksyon upang matugunan ang mga hamong ito at maghatid ng positibong pagbabago sa ating paaralan.

T: Ano ang dapat taglayin ng isang modelong pinuno/lider?

S: Para sa akin, ang isang lider ay dapat may malasakit sa pagseserbisyo. Upang magampanan nang maayos ang kanyang tungkulin, kailangan niyang tunay na mahalin at pagtuunan ng pansin ang kanyang mga nasasakupan. Naniniwala ako na kapag may pusong naglilingkod ang isang lider, hindi matitinag ang kanyang dedikasyon sa pagpapabuti ng kalagayan ng iba. Isang mahalagang katangian din ng isang lider ang pagiging mapagkumbaba at may empatiya. Upang tunay na maunawaan ang mga sitwasyon, problema, at pananaw ng kanyang mga nasasakupan, kailangan niyang magsimula sa pagpapakumbaba, ilagay ang sarili sa kalagayan ng iba, at magbigay ng tamang suporta. Sa pamamagitan ng empatiya, madali niyang matutugunan ang mga hinaing at suliranin ng mga taong kanyang pinamumunuan. Pang huli ay ang pagtanggap ng mga criticism at pagkakamali. Sa pagkakamali at pangbabatikos naiimprove ng isang lider ang kaniyang pamumuno dahil wala namang perpektong lider at natututo rin sila sa kanilang pagkakamali.

Iboto na! 🥁 Iboto na! 🥁 ISANTINIG! 📣

Last February 12 and 13, we took our voices from room to room, making sure every KNHSian heard our call. 🗣 These two exciting days gave everyone the chance to meet our ISANTINIG candidates and get to know the platforms we proudly stand for. ☝️

As for February 14? We pressed pause on the campaign—because love 💝 deserves the spotlight for at least one day a year! (Yes, we respect the unspoken rule of Valentine’s Day supremacy.)

But don’t worry, KNHSians! This isn't goodbye, just a brief intermission. See you next week for what comes next! 😁

We, your aspiring leaders, stand before you not just with determination but with a commitment to actively listen and respond to your concerns. Through this initiative, we will collaborate with Ang Bantayog and The Ivory of Democracy to conduct surveys, engage in room-to-room consultations, and ensure that your voices—your needs, concerns, and aspirations—are not just heard but acted upon.

– 𝐇eralding 𝐈nspiration, 𝐑esilience, and 𝐀spirations for 𝐘oung 𝐀chievers

Our school is home to diverse students—some fighting silent battles, others working hard to support themselves. With this in mind, we propose a Student Marketplace, a designated space where students can freely sell goods and services to earn their own income. By working closely with school organizations, the COOP, and the school canteen, we will turn this initiative into a sustainable opportunity for student entrepreneurs.

Unity is our strength. Through this initiative, we aim to foster camaraderie among students by organizing team-building activities, leadership training, and school-wide initiatives that bridge gaps between different grade levels and sections. A strong, united student body is the foundation of a thriving school community.

Transparency strengthens trust. While similar to TINIG, this initiative takes a step further by promoting open communication between students and faculty. We will introduce structured feedback systems, where concerns regarding school services, staff interactions, and administrative matters will be directly communicated to the proper channels, ensuring that student voices are valued and respected.

Confidence is the key to success. Through KUMPYANSA, we will launch leadership and personality development programs, including public speaking workshops, student-led training sessions, and pageants that go beyond aesthetics—celebrating intelligence, self-expression, and advocacy.
