⚓ Building the Future of Maritime Excellence: "K" Line Group Visits ME+ Batch 19

Last March 11-12, 2026, the "K" Line Group conducted its first Regular Visit to our nine (9) ME+ Class 2027 Cadets (Mechanical to Marine Engineering) at VMA Global College.

As part of our commitment to intensive monitoring and mentorship, this visit focused on:

• Company Integration: Introducing the "K" Line Company Profile and career paths.

• Manning Orientation: Insights into their respective agencies, Veritas Maritime Corporation and “K” LNG Maritime Services, Inc.

• Academic Excellence: Classroom observations to witness the high standard of teaching at VMA Global College and identify best practices for cadet development.

We recently gathered 50 of our Class 2029 IMMAJ-MAAP Scholars for the “K” Line Leadership Seminar held last February 27-28, 2026! 🗓️✨

It was an inspiring two days of aligning personal goals with our company mission and honing the leadership skills these cadets will carry with them to sea. 🌊 Setting a common goal today ensures a stronger maritime industry tomorrow!

“K” Line Marine & Energy, Pte., Ltd. (KME) with the “K” Line Scholarship Committee visited our 119 Sponsored Cadets under IMMAJ-MAAP Scholarship Program (IMS) from Class 2027, 2028 and 2029 in Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) last February 10, 2026.

The visitation was graced by Capt. Misa Matsuno (Manager of Marine Human Resource Group). Together with her were the representatives by “K” Line Maritime Academy Philippines, Inc. namely: C/E Shingo Arimura (“K” Line Representative), Capt. Shotaro Konno (Marine Support Services Manager), Capt. Edgardo T. Baratang (President), Engr. Mark Mesina (Scholarship Program Manager) and Ms. Camila Ladiero (Scholarship Coordinator).

Also present was C/E Peter B. Fadul, VP for Training and Crew Development of Veritas Maritime Corporation.

“K” Line Group had a productive visit by touring around MAAP Facilities, meeting with the our Sponsored Cadets, and had a dialogue with MAAP executives for a collaborative improvement and plans that will benefit our Sponsored Cadets.

Endorsement & Welcome Ceremony for "K" Line Mechanical to Marine (ME+) Bridging Program Batch 19 (Class 2027) last January 12, 2026 in VMA Global College, Bacolod City.

We are excited to announce that “K” Line Group officially welcomed the 19th Batch of the “K” Line Mechanical to Marine Engineering (ME+) Bridging Program.

The Endorsement and Welcome Ceremony was conducted last January 12, 2026 in VMA Global College, Inc.

“K” Line Group joined IMMAJ Group of Companies in celebrating IMMAJ MAAP Family Day last November 12, 2025 in Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific, Mariveles, Bataan.

We are proud to announce that MR. GABRIEL O. BERNALTE, our “K” Line Scholar from Maritime Education Scholarship Program (MESP) Batch 9 from Cristal e-College recently won and awarded as one of the Ten Outstanding Maritime Students of the Philippines (TOMSP) 2025.

After rigorous search which includes paper screeening, written examination, and panel interview, the Top 10 determined and were announced last September 28, 2025 in ALU-APSU-ITF Building in Cubao, Quezon City.

On October 1, 2025, “K” Line Maritime Academy Philippines headed by C/E Shingo Arimura (“K” Line Representative), Capt. Edgardo T. Baratang (President) and Engr. Mark Mesina (Scholarship Program Manager) gave recognition to Mr. Bernalte for showcasing his leadership, commitment and academic excellence as a maritime student.

We believe that this recognition will inspire not just our “K” Line Scholars, but as well as other cadets and students to always strive for excellence.

Qualifying Exam for "K" Line ME+ Batch 19 (Class of 2027) Officially Closed

We are pleased to announce the official closing of the Qualifying Exam for the "K" Line ME+ Bridging Program (Mechanical to Marine Engineering), Batch 19 – Class of 2027.

The examination and interview phases were successfully conducted in the following locations:

Cebu: July 15–16, 2025

Manila: August 5 & 12, 2025

Bacolod: September 11–12, 2025

We sincerely thank the 200 applicants who demonstrated their interest and commitment by participating in the ME+ Scholarship Program selection process.

Our evaluation team is currently reviewing all examination and interview results. The list of qualifiers for the Medical Phase will be announced in October 2025.
