✅Candidates must embody good moral character, have no pending disciplinary actions, and secure professor recommendations.

✅Due process in disqualification—always with written notice and respect for student rights.
✅Safeguards against resignation, impeachment, or failure to attain majority vote.

✅Officers may be removed for non-performance of duties.
✅ Council officers or the student body can initiate impeachment.
✅Formal resignation procedures ensure accountability. Attendance matters—three unexcused absences for major events can lead to impeachment.

📌 With the S𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 & 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, we provide:
✅Clear authority for appointments in case of vacancies. UELEC-led special elections to ensure fairness.
✅Temporary appointments only with adviser and dean consultation, keeping leadership stable and transparent.

The State of the Studentry Address (SOSA 2026) held yesterday, April 25, at Daughters of St. Paul, Pasay City, was not just a presentation of reports—it was a testament to the resilience, passion, and collective spirit of CUP student-leaders.

✨ 𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒: From the Narrative and Financial Reports of our SGOs, to the heartfelt words of our outgoing officers, and the recognition from our University President, Dr. Rosanie Estuche—this gathering reminded us that leadership is not about perfection, but about courage, service, and standing firm for student welfare.

With the voices of our Masters of Ceremony, outgoing Vice Presidents Honey Kent Mayuga and Bea Jiesyl Linda, and the support of our Office of Student Affairs led by Prof. Kenneth Nyl Oresco, we were reminded that every step in this journey was shared with the whole CUP community.

👩‍🎓 Our CSC President Ivy Ellamil, together with fellow SGO Presidents from CBA, COACT, COED, CONM, and Ang Salimbay, showed us that vulnerability in leadership is strength—and passion in service is what keeps us moving forward despite doubts.
