From the February 2021 GIPS Standards Newsletter, AIA recently announced its compliance with the GIPS standards. AIA used the process of attaining compliance as the catalyst to make sweeping changes that have modernized its operations, improved its investment outcomes and added robust governance to support its balance sheet.

The CFA Institute GIPS standards are a rigorous set of
performance standards based on the principles of fair
representation and full disclosure.
