WCC AVIATION HOLDINGS ACQUIRES 30% EQUITY STAKE IN PHILJETS

WCC Aviation Holdings formalized a major expansion in the commercial and business aviation sector on Thursday, signing a shareholders’ agreement on October 15, 2026, to acquire a 30% equity stake in premier aviation services provider PhilJets.

The milestone transaction was signed by Dr. Raymond Patrick V. Guico, President of WCC Aviation Holdings, and Thierry Tea, Chairman of PhilJets.

The strategic equity acquisition broadens WCC Aviation Holdings’ existing ecosystem. Currently, the conglomerate oversees aviation education through the WCC Aeronautical & Technological College (WCC ATC), flight training through the WCC Pilot Academy, and commercial regional air transport through Sky Pasada.

With its 30% entry into PhilJets, WCC adds direct operational reach into private charter flights, comprehensive aircraft management, and regional technical support across both the Philippines and the wider ASEAN territory.

A central outcome of the partnership is bridging the gap between aviation education and commercial operational demands. PhilJets Chairman Thierry Tea emphasized that developing skilled domestic talent remains critical to supporting regional aviation growth.

“Aircraft expand our capacity. People determine how well we deliver,” said Tea. “WCC Aviation Holdings brings experience across aviation education, pilot training and airline operations. Together, we have an opportunity to develop capable Filipino professionals and build businesses grounded in safety, precision and service.”

The signing ceremony brought together key executive leadership from both organizations.

We are currently recruiting A320 Captains on behalf of our client, Peach Aviation, based at Kansai International Airport, Osaka, Japan.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Captains to join a fast-growing, ANA-backed carrier operating across Japan and East/Southeast Asia.

On offer is a permanent role with positioning flights included.

Role Requirements:
• Valid ICAO ATPL, JCAB preferred
• A320 or other Type-Rating
• Minimum 4,000 hours total flight time with commercial airlines
• Minimum 1,500 hours PIC on commercial jets (reduced to 500 hours PIC if you hold a JCAB ATPL and have flown for a Japan-based commercial airline)
• LPC with at least 6 months validity remaining upon joining
• ELP Level 4 or above
