Flores de Mayo & Santacruzan 2026

A Celebration of Hope with Mary

This afternoon, the San Juan de Dios College community gathered in faith and tradition for the third Flores de Mayo and Santacruzan sa San Juan. With devotion and joy, we honored the Blessed Virgin Mary and the mystery of the Holy Cross through prayer, song, and procession.

The Angels opened the march, reminding us of innocence, harmony, gladness, devotion, generosity, and integrity—virtues that prepare the heart for God.

The Reynas followed, each carrying symbols of faith, hope, charity, justice, wisdom, loyalty, harmony, zeal, purity, leadership, and devotion—culminating with Reyna Elena, bearer of the True Cross. Together, they formed a living catechism, inviting us to imitate their virtues in daily life.

Led by our Hermana Mayor, Dr. Sarah Macatual, this celebration was graced by administrators, faculty, staff, students, families, and friends—truly a vibrant testimony of unity in faith and service.

Grateful to all who actively participated in this new tradition of the College. Looking forward to the Flores de Mayo & Santacruzan 2027 under the new Hermana Mayor, Mrs. Cleofe A. Ignacio, College Registrar.
