📚✨ Wrapping up Literacy Month 2025 at Gideon Academy Library! ✨📚

We kicked off with a thrilling Word Hunt game, where students boosted their vocabulary while exploring every corner of the library throughout November. Partnering with Lampara Publishing House, Inc., we hosted a vibrant 5-day Book Fair, captivating storytelling sessions of "I Say Thank You" and "Family Stories," plus a fun How-to-Make-a-Manga Workshop for our Elementary and High School students.

Face-to-Face Classes are suspended for October 13-14 (Monday and Tuesday) due to an increase in the case of influenza-like illness and the recent earthquake incidents according to the Pasay City Public Information Office.

💡ALAM MO BA?💡

Bago magkaroon ng selebrasyon ng Buwan ng Wika tuwing Buwan ng Agosto ay mayroon munang Linggo ng Wika na ipinagdiwang noong 1946 hanggang 1953 sa bisa ng proklamasyon ni Pangulong Sergio Osmeña. Ginugunita ito tuwing Marso 27 hanggang Abril 2, na natatapos sa kaarawan ng makatang si Francisco Balagtas.

Noong 1955, inilipat ni Pangulong Ramon Magsaysay ang selebrasyon sa Agosto 13 hanggang 19 upang maisali ang mga paaralan sa pagdiriwang, at noong 1997, pinalawig ni Pangulong Fidel Ramos ang Linggo ng Wika sa buong buwan ng Agosto na kilala ngayon bilang Buwan ng Wika.
